  • Half of a flat row and half of an upright row.

  • So how is this a Bent BB row?

  • Those rows suck

  • Nice set. so few people know how to target the lats properly on rows. follow the thighs, elbows in, just like you did. anything els is just rear delts/traps. ditch the straps bro, they are holding you back if you cant even hang on to that bar, as strong as you are.

  • do your gloves match your purse

  • dolla dolla bill ya'll

  • Good job but this is more of a Yates Row than a bent over barbell row based on how upright you're standing

  • @bonzihunter ..a yates row is under hand... it doesn't matter how upright u r... that all depends on what part of the lats you wanna hit

  • @sanna022 yeah Dorian was noted for doing it with an underhand grip... but he is also noted for a different variation of rows ppl simply refer to as Yates Rows which is a different exercise altogether. You can see him explaining it in a video of his back workout with Kai Greene and Oscar Arden. It's like a bent over row but done with a narrow overhand grip and standing notably more upright, like a cross between a shrug and a bent over row... exactly what this guy is doing here.

  • @bonzihunter you do that strict row with that much and still hold up your spine;) post it

  • @TheMRamstaff I could do it, but not with strict form and not for 12 reps. And frankly I'd be embarrassed to take a video camera with me to film myself working out at the gym, lol. But i wasn't criticizing his form. His form is good. Just saying that what he's doing is more of a Yates Row than a bent over row.

  • @bonzihunter Well if we assume that the Yates row develops lats like those of Yates himself then by all means I think we should all do Yates rows :)

  • @bonzihunter neither can y with strict form

  • not everyone has good ginetics though, i apoligize.

  • grab 315 bare handed, no straps, no belt, no chalk & rep it 10 times. then post that. i can do that on a weak day.

  • @lighterbuds Horseshit. This twink isn't able to handle 225 on any day. Just another faceless cowardly troll.

  • I just thought it was funny posting 225 x12 like it's some gym feat. i was doing that when i was 18.

  • @lighterbuds Check out my vid of me on the farmer's walk under my screen name.

These are 185 cylinders carried without straps. This was just 5 weeks out from my competing at the IFBB nationals. I was dieting and not my strongest. But I think I could still squeeze your head off if I wanted too!!

  • @cgb6810 yawn,my buddies are actually decortated and famous pros.you dont' impress me. and i seriously doubt you could touch me.i'm a pro boxer,or was,i'm retired.i used to run a gold's gym, trust me i know liftng and bodybuilding.ya,you don't have to lift very heavy to build muscle. but i guarantee you weren't born with my lifting genetics and you CAN'T out lift me.I'm not into bodybuilding, cause I don't do steroids or hgh, but I do lift 5 days a week or so. i was just ripping on you for funs!

  • @lighterbuds I'm not trying to impress you, I'm trying to educate you. But you have a closed mind (maybe not enough room?). If you've owned a gold's, you sure as hell didn't train because you lack the fundamentals. You will NOT get big if you don't lift some heavy weight. LIke I said, bodybuilders do lift some heavy weight. Even incorporating power lifting movements in their workouts. Post some of your impressive vids....So much bullshit on the web from faceless wonders. LMAO

  • @lighterbuds LMAO, if you think Im weak, you don't know me. I don't have the strength of every power lifter, but Ive competed in strongman and kept up fine. You can't build muscle without strength. If you think you can, you haven't built muscle. I've got more then a dozen vids of my own up showing what I can do. Common misconception, or just plain ignorance. Most bodybuilders also incorporate power lifting into their routines. Learn a little, you would have much more to offer.

  • @lighterbuds what the fuck does bodybuilding have to do with lifting a heavy pole LOL, are you 5 or are you retarded?

  • Bodybuilding is an art. Squeezing necks or lifting poles isnt what bodybuilding is done for, thats yob culture.

Besides, I use straps to get those extra 4 reps at the end of my set, so I can work my back, traps etc to failure. And I guess others use them for the same reason as well.

  • @AndyNBR

Even the best strongmen use them. lighterbuds is a tool.

  • @lighterbuds Maybe he's already done 15 or more sets on back day and his grip is gone. I use straps on back day. My grip will never keep up with my high volume back workout. Keep in mind, he's working his back on back day, not forearms. Im a competitive bodybuilder. If you're a powerlifter then this is completely different. But then again, power lifters don't do high volume or high reps. Straps are no problem.

  • @ThePorkistanii Shut up noob, you know NOTHING of bodybuilding so keep your mouth shut

  • @ThePorkistanii Dont try to front over me you are from Pakistan you have ZERO bodybuilding gene, im 5x time your size so stop running your disgusting mouth,

and why you're talking about traps? LOL Bent Over Row is for your back DUMBASS!!!!

Good job on making a fool of yourself

  • @ThePorkistanii oh just shut up faggot you have no business commenting on bodybuilding video, this guy did his rows correctly and you cant even lift 225 an inch from the ground so stop humiliating yourself, fag

  • my favorite back exercise i can do ur weight but i cheat bad...lol

  • that doesn't look like a 45 degree angle stance, not sure if ur working the lats on that exercise

  • @Inferno0619 lol.

  • @ThePorkistanii There was nothing wrong with those rows. I have a feeling you would probably collapse if you even thought really hard about moving 225.

  • Looks like Mac is training more than just his glamor muscles now

  • Aren't those Yates Rows?

  • Comment removed

  • dolla dolla bill ya'll

  • i do half the weight hehe

  • Depending on what part of your back you are using most I would say bend more.

  • is this dude on juice or just hard work a few years of good diet. cuz if its the latter thats a good strong build

  • If someone takes anabolic steroids they don't work hard?

And if he takes anabolic steroids, his "build" isn't very good?

  • great lift, great physique.

looks like you should bend a bit more though

then again, you are bigger and stronger than me :]

  • wtf dickhead at :54 ??

    good work

  • @JayRodddddd hows he a dickhead...he was walking by

  • @JayRodddddd What happened?

  • whats the difffernce between this and yates row can someone please inform me

  • yates row is just a more upright position which allows the use of more weight both are excellent exercises

  • Yates row is 45 degree angle, bent over is 90 degree

  • very nice gym you belong to

  • should be doing that with 3 plates man! are you new to barbell rowing??? still looking pumped though

  • Gee man, you're so great, you are not real, right? I mean, you're some sort of computer animation by a very very skilled artist, aren't you?

  • wtf?

  • Haha, just joking around. :)

  • Great job, bro.

  • Man, your form is awesome... How many years have you been training? I heard you were natural too.. mad props, man.

  • he still IS natural.

  • My bad, my English sucks. I meant IS natural. ^^;

  • how come ur always at another gym lol, good lift bro

  • how much is that dude in the background pressing???????????

  • 275

  • good lifting and good form,but isn't that 225? 4x45 and 45 pound bar
