I love playing the Black Belt hack and others. Fun combos to be had. The hacked ROMs are easy to find, no Game Genie codes needed.

just pop C4A4-6767 (air code) in your game genie. Back in the day nobody had more codes then me with this crap. I remember killing a whole summer as a kid finding all kinds of crap. Also with this code, get burned, and then do a move, like a shoryuken in mid burn, your character will be bright orange and half pitch black, if bison does a psycho crusher on you, do the same thing mid-burn, you will turn bright blue =)

This is one half of what I have been looking for. I used to mix and match the various game genie codes out of magazines YEARS ago. The best mix I found was just like this, but the fireballs from all players set the opponent on fire, and changed their colors. I found this video googling trying to find the OG codes, to try to recreate it. Anyone have a good database for GG codes, that isnt a closed down newsgroup email server?

While it may look like they shoot fireballs from their feet (example at 00:11-00:14), what happens is that after the fireball move, if it's at the low punch speed (which on here moves at a very slow crawl at times) you pull off a complete uppercut punch and the fireball goes to underneath their feet. This usually doesn't happen every time, though.

I remember doing something similar with the game genie...use any special in the air I think it was...I could do infinite shoryuken's once one hit like jump kick then air shoryu infinite, good times. It was also easy to catch people with the spd while airborne ^_^

The version we're playing is actually a hacked ROM, which made it play sort of like the Black Belt (AKA Rainbow) edition. You can't switch characters like in the bootlegged arcade version, though.
