Comparing the "Prendi" Arias, I just realized how similar Ms. Ghazarian and Ms. Scotto in their Interpretations are !

BOTH primadonnas are putting their individuality into the role, making it REAL ! It seems only these Divas understood what Donizetti asked for...

The rest is singing without profile of what the scene is all about!! Some are mechanical, some have intonation problems, some sharp, and some simply indifferent! Thanks1+10

A gorgeous, sensitive  Diva who is respecting DONIZETTI !! Doing all required "Fermati", "Tenutis", "Legatos", "Pianos", etc...and yet interpreting the role as it should be ! Underlining with fine lines, and showing voice capacity when necessary! Being loud is NOT singing. Her coloraturas are defined, clear and exact. Not mixed up like some do...

A great actress with excellent Italian ! Every word is matching to the expression and action.
