@Duckyistrippin The gate drive gear is connected directly to the motor and is not able to be moved by hand. I have a key that can disengage the motor for manual opening and closing incase something goes wrong with the electrics.
The motor also has a function to reopen if it hits something while trying to close.
is this one rack drive instead of chain?

@Robb001 thanks :) one last question. when the gate is shut, can you easily slide it open by hand or does it "lock" shut for security?
