  • We miss you, Jack.

  • The world was simpler then, and better.

  • Jack was the Mountaineers for those of us who could only listen on the radio. From my first recollection of a devestating 36-35 loss to the evil empire from Pitt to the amazing td run of Major Harris over the Nittany Lions and yes even the blocked punt to Miami... Jack was the sound of WVU. I know he was gone, but the Sugar bowl win over Georgia must have had his spirit smiling. Go Mountaineers

  • How I wish so much that we could somehow bring you back.

  • So what was the result of this particular game?

  • @timild90 A loss...as was per usual with Penn State.

  • @wvuweaponX I do know that the series was lopsided, but the only Penn State game I actually remember was 1988, when I was 12. Of course we won that one. Not too long after that the we stopped playing them.

  • @wvuweaponX I thought this was the 1984 game which we won

  • I realized that players come and go, and coaches and coaching staff, also .. but the one given that we knew that would always return was the team of Jack Fleming and Woody O'Hara. It has not been the same since both of them left .. but then, I don't know that I would ever want it to be. We miss you both.

  • Jack will ALWAYS be the voice of the Mountaineers for this gold and blue clad fan! That is not a knock on Tony but, it's impossible to be better than perfect! Rest in peace Jack!

  • well said

  • God Bless Jack! The Best!! Let's Go 'EERS! Make Jack proud!

  • It's funny how you can miss someone you've never met but I do miss Jack Flemming.

  • Musberger WISHES he did it this well.

  • Made me cry. I miss him.

  • We miss you, Jack.

Saturdays are never the same without you.

  • J..A..C..K =A great saturday. If they were on TV the sound was muted and the radio was on.

Not just the press box, but let's have the blue lot renamed Flemming field.

anything they do will not be enough of a thank you to this man.

    But I hope they try.

  • Halloween Night in Morgantown! People wear Joe Paterno masks that look like that at PSU games!

  • Jack should be in the NFL Hall of Fame - one of the greatest NFL voices of all time.

  • awesome video... reminds me of my childhood!!!

  • The PSU fans roll into MoTown dressed like the KKK. LMAO.

  • i would love for jack to been able, to do the play calling of pat white

  • i love jack

  • There is no better scene setter in the history of college football. Jack Fleming was the greatest color commentator in the history of the game. Period

  • I miss Jack, I grew up listening to him. He was great!!

  • amazing

  • Wow this video is great... brought tears to my eyes. I was too young to remember Jack Fleming calling games... but I'm never too young to appreciate him. Man if only he were around today to call some of the amazing moments of Mountaineer Football that has happened in recent years.

    We miss you, Jack.

  • I sure do miss you Jack Fleming. You made me feel as if I were in Morgantown watching any game you called on the radio. You are and will always be THE VOICE OF THE MOUNTAINEERS!

    LETS GO MOUNTAINEERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Jack says "...it will be our pleasure to describe the action." No Jack, the pleasure was all ours.

  • @wvuweaponX ....agreed.

  • Great vid. brings a teer to your eye. Tony is good but, nobody can top Jack.

  • Thanks for putting this together. It speaks to why we love college football. Jack Fleming was awesome.

  • Indeed he was.
