How to start nitro Thunder Tiger

Hi, im new to nitro and just bought a thunder tiger pro mosnter truck, im not sure what engine it has i bought it off a guy who made it via magazine. i cant get it to start at all. i have brand new batteries in my glow starter, glow plug works, not flooded, primed correctly. dont know if i have the needles adjusted correctly please help

hi im new to this whole nitro stuff and iv got the same car it lets out tons of smoke is it suppost to do that and its has horrible acceloration im new plzzzzzz awnser back

its very cool, but i think the rc-box is to small, with a failsave in it, its hard to press all the electronics in place

i have this tiny little problem..my car starts nicely but the moment i touch the throttle it dies on me...what could be the prob???i have the tomahawk vx..nice ride..

I think..

1) overflow. the fuel rich the carburator.. please check the carb, switch off the car, release the air filter, open glow plug, turn upside down the chasis pull the pullstart 3/4 times. pull all parts back.

2) the engine is getting hot if you played many times.. just relax..take a breath, until the engine cooling down.

Most important, set the carb to factory setting..

ok if your engine works till it gets up to operating temps and then shuts off then that means you have a worn out piston and sleeve

im really upset. i have that exsack car. i want to get into pro racing (the track at cholchester is my nearest)but the engine is to big to race. they use 12. i dont care as i think the car is great but my pull start bust and a m8 crashed it so the plastic under the foam broke off i need to no were to get tese and how much. can u help. i raised the suspenction so i can go on anyroad and its great. thanks

do you find that the cooling tower is to small and overheats. i had to change mine for that reason to one that is 3 times the size and now it dont overheat

hi.. the factory cooloing tower is compatible with that engine. I've tried it out running in the track around 40 minutes, and used 1/2 gallon of fuel..

Yes it is. Tomahawk VX. I strongly recommend u to buy VX. Suitable for beginner, easy to start easy to run. But now, i have upgrade my hobby/skill with Kyosho V1 RR Evo.. But, VX is still my choice to practice

Hi uh7890.. Engine starts, then stalls. This is my opinion 1)Idle speed set to low> adjust idle speed screw until 0.5-1 mm is ontained. Normally this is factory setting. 2)Air bubbles in fuel line> check for leaks in fuel line. 3>Glow plug is fouled> replace glow plug. If any addition and suggestion.. please dont hesitate..

Firstly, check the Idle speed screw. Second, check the fuel line, if air bubbles in fuel line. Or, after start the engine, you must pull the trigger slowly and release it, do as much as you can to warm the engine..
