  • Americans = not the sharpest tools in the shed....

  • burnn fakeee !!!

  • @mick8073 How's this fake?

  • only if the outside is mph lol

  • 140 mph viewers..dont get it twisted...

  • aprox 8s if you consider speedometer accuracy

  • that thing is fast as shit for a fwd...

  • Meeeeeeeeeen i love sound VTEC engine.

  • This is the reason why morons like this destroy good, small engines like this..The Honda B18 engine was not designed to be revved out and abused like this..This is why some many of them have severely worn rings and cylinders, bent valves etc..These cars were designed for economy driving and mild high speed runs now and again..If you want cars with engines that were built to rev high and hacked out while being durable, then get the chevy LS V8's or a Nissan rev-up VQ35 or VQ37HR.

  • @GTnumber1 umm...actually that's exactly what the type-r was designed for...

  • @JamisonMK3 Judging from your comment, you obviously non-educated about the past B18C engine situation concerning the factory stock cylinder and piston rings premature wear due to excessive high temps in both the cylinder head and block from high 7000 rpms runs. The only way those engines rings/cylinder stood up to those rpms until high mileage (over 140,000km )were if they were replaced with parts with tougher metallurgy. Factory valves, cams, springs stood up successfully.

  • @GTnumber1 what a load of bullshit buddy ,most of them pass 200k

  • @supermotardmario Firstly, Try your best to read and properly understand my comments below before you post your comments. Secondly, If you don't have much experience, training and qualifications concerning cars and their mechanical / electrical makeup, then don't comment at all. Thanks.

  • @GTnumber1 you know what im not even going to go in to this. you are 1: a teenager 2: not knowing anything about what you type

if your engines/ pistonrings fail, get some education in how to install engine parts

learn how to setup your ring clearance, and how to measure the correct piston size that the car needs

once you have done that, you might have a car that doesnt wear out due to heat.

dont go in to this, dont make a fool of yourself

  • @supermotardmario I would definitely not"go into this"and I would certainly be making a complete fool of myself by having an automotive conversation with you because, for starters, you don't know how to comprehend simple english language comments and points(your piston/rings"clearance"theory has no relevance whatsoever to my earlier comments LOL)..and secondly, judging from your misguided and lame attempt to contribute irrelevant info, I can confidently say that you're car illiterate.Don't reply

  • @GTnumber1 cool story, why dont you take a cooky

  • @JamisonMK3 Second that. Remember Honda came from making Sport Bikes which engine often exceeds 11000rpms. Most performance Honda engines (like ones found in Type-R models) are built to be revved to produce their high power. Not to mention that sweet sounding VTEC engagement.

  • who do ppl have to be such assholes about mph and kmh? if someone gets it wrong then just let em know. dont be dicks and rub it in their faces on how they are wrong and "retarted" because they didnt realize it -_-

  • everyone's retarded if they think this is MPH... honestly and this talk of metric vs standard.. i don't give a shit. I like my MILE you can keep your weak kilometer.

  • He was going 145 MPH not 240 jackass

  • Brand new car?

  • Metric!! Dumbass

  • all i heard was BWAAHHHHHHHHHH DERPPP BWAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH DERPPP BWAAHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!

  • no way he was driving 220, a teg does 140 flat out. that shit is fake.

  • @LeticiaFersan hahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahaha..... Idiot..... M E T R I C... understand....??

  • @LeticiaFersan Your a FUCKING retard see KM/H???!?!?!?! 220 KM/H = Roughly 140 MPH. For christ sake theres even MPH on the speedo. God I cant take it anymore, everybody on youtube are buttfucking retards

  • @LeticiaFersan you made me do a facepalm for showing stupidity

  • 1/4 mile in about 10.5 seconds

  • @Ayenjull209 buuullllll sshhhiiiiiittttt. if this car is runnin 10.5's mine's runnin 8's

  • I love watching that trip odometer roll at speed. Then things went digital and ruined the fun. :(

  • canadian gauges....?

  • you use kph so you can reach 220 going slower than us in America to u we go 350

  • it does not seem to me at all but

  • HONDA HATE: You need power to powershift.

  • @DK99824 HONDA LOVE: It has vtec all the power u need.

  • If done well and you don't bounce on the limiter than there isn't huge amounts more damage. Of course using this style of shift usually goes hand and hand with a faster driving style; which will inevitably reduce the lifespan of components. But a well maintained car with a skilled owner who is aware of the cars limits can last a long time

  • is it true that by doing this you can damage your car

  • aren't itr's like 200 something hp stock? seems a little slow...

  • @flinchey 6.9s 0-100km/h

  • 14 seconds 1/4 mile (400 meters ) ;)

  • Oowee! Thats some nice Honda driving!

  • Comment removed

  • Bad shifting

  • @maynorsman1 Think good Shifting^^

  • @maynorsman1 Bad comment.

  • corre a pentium o a sega no lose

  • Teh attack of teh ricer!!

  • VTEC just kicked in yo

  • Imagine this was a 6 speed?!! Fuuuck that shit would be killing the game

  • Damn I wish my car had those extra 2krpm

  • Damn this guy could've gotten to at least 155

  • Couldn't you record 2 more seconds, i wanted to see the car at max speed :D

  • Great launch! Pretty good sound too, well done :)

A 0-100km/h in ~5.5 is respectable enough as well, these are light and nimble cars.

  • ITS OVER 9000!

  • 0-100km in 4.5 seconds! wow awesome

  • I love how American's don't realize that the rest of the world uses the metric system. aka KM/h...

  • @iggie3 apart from the uk, we use metric for road signs etc

but really surprisingly, officially metric units used by the U.S

  • @iggie3 it's retarded that the U.S doesn't use the metric system. It drives me insane! and i'm american!

  • @MrDrummerman37 hes not saying the US uses the metric system read it closer thank u very much

  • @iggie3 i love how the rest of the world compares themselves to americans

  • @iggie3 well woopty freaking doo for the rest of the world ~slow applause~ ..........

  • @iggie3

    What about England.

  • @iggie3 lmao not gunna lie until i saw this comment i was like "jesus christ this dude's car is crazy fast!" now im just like "oh nice thats a pretty fast car" lol but yea the metric system is much simpler

  • @iggie3

You're an idiot if you think that. We DO realize that.

  • @iggie3 fuck the metric system

  • @EkcoupeSOHC The metric system is way more accurate and it's used in all over the world, your the only contry who actually use the retarded MPH

  • ok i actually had to sign in cause some of the comments were just ignorant.

The big figures on the dash are the KILOMETERS per hour, and the smaller are the MILES per hour.

the car basically did 0-60 MPH in about 5-6 seconds. not 4, that was kilometers. if that was the case then it would be doing 40 mph with its tires skidding off the launch. i dont think so.

Anyways, i like the vid, nice. Good shifting. Car is going fast as hell towards the end, 140 mph and slowly counting.

  • 0:02 VTEC JUST KICKED IN YO

  • awesome noise

  • Type r tight car

  • 0 - 60 in less than 4 sec??? crazy

  • 140mph is pretty fast

  • is this stock?

  • 0-60 mph in 5.28 sec...

  • these hondas do top end and keeps on going till the revs finsh lol i have an eg8 done up 1.6 and every gear including 5fth gear i can do full 9000rpm ;)

  • At least the burnout sounded real.

  • if only that were miles per hour lol

  • @yamahayz0426 they have mile per hour it is read MPH it's under the km/h

  • i miss my DC2! :o(

  • @22dimethylhexane Maby. I like your name. Any isomer of octane is cool!

  • 1 Km in 27 seconds nice

  • @gundamfuker not necessarily people put in different clusters in their car all the time

  • Pretty descent

  • 140 mph

  • holy fuk thts fast they shud get a camera angle through the windshield show how fast it looks

  • LOL KPH!!!!!

  • @bjornjoseph there is mph on there too

  • @bjornjoseph whats wrong with kph?

  • @Lordcamilo2 lol nothing at all...

  • mph would have been cooler

  • como camina la puta madre!!!!

  • Sounds like a usdm itr motor

  • Its in kilometers in the bold numbers.

MPH is in the tiny letters like american cars

  • Holy shit! I'm a GM guy for the most part but damn that thing moves out.

  • About 6 seconds to 60? That seems pretty slow

  • Comment removed

  • @TheBulldawg4life

Around 4 seconds you retard. And for your information, a 0-60mph integra in 4 seconds in pretty darn fkn quick.

  • @nitroteddy01 i agree 0 to 60 in 4 seconds is fast to bad his cluster isnt reading mph but km/h

  • @nitroteddy01 The speedo started about halfway through 1 second...it reached 100 kph (60 mph) just before it clicks to 7. That's about 6 seconds.

  • @TheBulldawg4life even if it was 6 seconds that is still fast bud....

  • @jb19941 I had higher expectations..

  • @Apexy001 explain to me power shifting plezzzzz

  • by power shifting you mean lift shifting?

  • Type-R integras are missles. love how they sound too

  • xfinity turtles say ur slow

  • Cemetrygatesml..kinda car,u run'?

  • anybody else notice he has no kilometers on the dial

  • @TheRecon4 that was his trip dial....

  • @TheRecon4 thats just the trip meter. kms are just a little further above

  • @TheRecon4 he has 65844 km and the bottom part can be erased :\

  • @TheRecon4

look again dumb ass. there is kilometers o nit. the kilometers are on the outisde ring of the dial and the mph was on the inside he was going 220 kph which is about 140 mph.

  • @TheRecon4 oh. ha....

  • @TheRecon4

Silly boy, that's the trip meter. You can reset that whenever you want. Have you ever driven a car? ;)

  • @cheesehammers haha I had to reread his comment because I was like there is no way he is such a dumbass and then I remembered I was on YouTube.

  • @cheesehammers lol i thought the same as you :D

  • @TheRecon4 are you retarded?

  • @TheRecon4 the outside ring is km/h the inside is mp/h. but still 140mph is fast

  • @TheRecon4 you mean the 65845? what i think is awesome is the fact that he hit 220 km/h in 1 km

  • @TheRecon4 ORLY?!?! have you heard of reset trip button?

  • @TheRecon4 look around my friend, thats the trip, look 2 inches up.

  • @TheRecon4 that was the trip meter...look above at the 65,845 kms

  • @TheRecon4 You idiot(s)! It's the trip odometer. It can be reseted by pressing the button just by the speedometer (lower left). Just look at the other odometer right over it it shows 65 844km before the run. Have you and everyone else thumbing you up never been in a car before? Hahaha! No offense BTW.

  • @TheRecon4 Hes got 0 on the trip and 65k above.

  • @TheRecon4 the kilometers are the big bold numbers...........doesnt say MPH it say KM/H........... so car in europe or japan!! right hand drive.

  • @TheRecon4 look a little above the center of the needle on the speedometer, that is where the kiloleters at. You're looking at the trip meter to calculate your trip distance.

  • @TheRecon4 you can actually reset it just oress that thing in the middle and there its back to 000

  • @TheRecon4 thats the trip you dumbazz

  • @TheRecon4 why are you watching car video?

  • @TheRecon4 he does thats the main one then the small one is mph

  • @TheRecon4 he reset it.. you can see it move

  • where was this

  • Respect man!

  • that's yeahhhhhhhhhhhh budyyyyyyy awesome brother!

  • 140mph...thats cute

  • i first thought that was in mph... "holy shit that's a fast integra" hahaha

  • you both are retarded!!!

  • nearly 8 seconds to 60mph. sad

  • thats fucking amazing

  • Wow I thought this was a pretty fast car. Then i realized it was Km/h and the 12s quarter mile at 95mph became way less impressive.. Still nice run and sounds cherry!

  • to end all of these arguments- hondas are just good little reliable commuter cars- thats it- yeah they make the most power per liter. but they only have 2 liters... so it doesnt matter- and hondas are actually getting slower, while american cars are getting faster- because american cars getting more power, and hondas are gaining more weight...

  • @quadzillaryder Check the lap times at willow springs Acura TL type s and s2000 type s faster than your shelby gt500 with half the power. Beat by a fwd four door family car and a 2.2l four cylinder and they both cost less than the shelby gt500. All that power is useless with out good suspension design there still using a solid rear axle lol its the 21st centry not 1960.

  • @NCSprink yeah ok- a 4 cylinder is gonna beat a 550 hp sports car- are u smoking crack?> maybe one driver was alot better then the other one.... and ur wrong- the solid rear axle in the mustang is very sophisticated and is setup very good- than any other other solid rear- (and is almost as good as an independent setup...(why do u think the mustang only used an independent rear for only a few years??) and the mustang handles almost just as good as a bmw m3- which is a extremely good handling car-

  • @NCSprink and yeah it got beat by a TENTH of a sec- (mostly got beat from driver error) and that was with an older gt500- with older technology-(50 less hp) (but if u look- all the lap records are set by american muscle) and the new gt500 is almost a sec faster- but id rather have a regular GT- because its lighter and will smoke all hondas- no new honda runs 12.6 1/4 mile.. lol even the fastest nsx only runs a 13.2...

  • @NCSprink check the comments about the lap times- how they are not correct- the TL runs a 14 flat 1/4 et.. way slower than the gt500- and the '06 gt500 does handle good- not the best but with all that power- it makes up

  • thats fast!!!

  • @HomoHuuruKilli thats km/h

  • If your a gear head and hate on something that turns 9000rpm and makes 100 naturaly asperated hp per liter or more from the factory your a fool and not a true car enthusiat.

  • @NCSprink its not always a matter of Hp... i hate these cars because they make dirt shit torque. high hp... low tq. whitch ultimatly is the downfall of these cars... that 0-100km/h time seemed fast...but it was actually done in 6.5 seconds.... with powershifting. if he shifted properly were looking at a 7 second time.

(im using a special program to view youtube video's... it shows miliseconds some im about .1 second acurate) launched at 0:66 - hit 100km/h @ 7.28

  • @NCSprink PART 2

the fact that they can turn saftly at 9000rpm is cool, and i apretiate that... but common this is supposed to be hondas/acuras Bread & butter Type-R tuned engines...

my old ass 1994 V6 mustang made 145hp/230tq and weighs in 400kg more then this type-R.... and still managed to pull a 6.9sec 0-100km/h with an automatic tranny.

  • Any gear head should give props to another gear head. With the right amount of money you can make anything fast. So what its not what you like doest that mean you should hate on it.I didnt like ford because they cut corners on there cars fake air scoops put a blower on the GT500 but left stock gt suspension and brakes plus europe getting AWD 300hp focus rs for years and we get a crappy svt.Didnt mean i hated on evey mustang video but im proud of them now there making good cars and doing it right

  • @NCSprink -The GT500's suspension is lower than a Mustang GT's, and uses recalibrated front and rear shocks, upgraded front and rear stabilizer bars and revised spring rates. the brakes are equally impressive. The Brembo front rotors are 14 inches in diameter, cross-drilled and clamped by four-piston aluminum calipers. In back, 13-inch rotors and four-piston calipers. also SVT's signature chassis is tweaked for a well balanced, performance-tuned ride. alot different than a GT

  • @quadzillaryder The new gt500 is not the first year they brought it back and they claimed what i think high 11s but nobody could get it run that stock because it had no traction at all. When honda makes a v8 they run 200+ mph and turn 10000+ rpms. honda hasnt had one engine failure as long as they have been in indy and thats why they are all honda now because nobody else could compete.

  • @NCSprink - yeah take a look at ford cars in nascar- they have their ford 5.9L (358 c.i.) pushrod engine, 2 valve heads, and it puts out 800 hp with a carburetor, and its restricted- and spins 9600 rpms for hours.... how about that? and its not fuel injected, no overhead cams etc... and u rarley see engines fail in the middle of the race- and thats 50 yr old technology..

  • @NCSprink and ur wrong- there has been honda engine failures- there has not been one in 6 straight years- but before that there was, and will be in the future...

  • Your American cars can't take a corner like an S2000 or NSX. Day to day, straight line speed is less important than handling. Oh yeah, compare power to power. That's not fare you compare an OLD NSX and OLD S2000 to a new Mustang.

  • @hondaftw1234 old NSX vs old mustang? is that what you want?

first of bud...strait line power is way more important for a street ride. why? because who the fuck ever actaully takes their cars to a race track on a weekly basis to put that superb handling to use.

when you loose a red light heads-up drag race do you muble that ur car can handle better? No.

and FYI a GT mustang will beat a Honda S2000. matching the years.

and a 70k NSX vs a Mustang? LOL race a viper or corvette bud.

  • @CemetaryGatesML

Just because you don't know how to race man, a set of lights is so shit, the thrill of a drag race on the street can only last for those 10 seconds, however a dogfight putting cars up against eachother in a series or winds and turns, and full Fast and Furious style. you just suck man.

  • @hadongan i dont know how to race... sure, not even gonna touch this topic.

when the fuck will you ever go on winding fast and furious drift around toyko Bs... you need to stop living in the fantasy life... maby its because you've never driven a car... when you aquire a licence, talk to me about whiping around a mountain road with blind coarners and sheer drops at 100mph... good luck.

look on the bright side, maby you will find a twisty forest road, ever seen a car swisted around a tree?

  • @CemetaryGatesML

I told you you don't know how to race, your only skill is drag, thats weak, drag takes no skill, drag needs no control, I hope I don't see or get twisted around a tree as my car is made to have 'control' you're so bad man, you're "FAST" car only allows you to feel good for those 13-15 seconds of dragging, where as our agile cars allow us to feel "FAST" for an extended period of time, weakling..

  • @hadongan aare you dumb? i dont kno how to race? bud you know nothing about me!

drag takes no skill, no control? are you fucking stupid?

stop living the dream in a videogame you stupid kid. your NEVER going to be a street racing fast&furious streetRacer. you have noooo idea how rediculas you sound.

  • @CemetaryGatesML

Are you retarded? the way you speak already tell's me you no nothing about control, if you're car ever went sideways cause of you're lack of skill you'll definitely see the pole, I know everything about you just by the way you discount the ability to control cars, the only thing you expect is speed, it's idiots like you that cause accident's on the road, go learn some genuine driving techniques instead of just planting your foot on the gas pedal.. tool

  • @hadongan bud your a joke get a licence and stop playing need for speed.

3x a year i go for a track weekend basicly about 12hrs of racing per weekend.

i've driven cars from custom kit racers, to late models, to supercars. thats my hobby.

i also used to drag race, but i quite because its to expensive.

i've been trained by pro's how to use these cars before i hit the track bymyself, and i've been doing this since i was 16, so DONT tell me i dont know how to drive kid!

  • @hadongan you want me to keep adding to it? i also have a motorcycle... thats what i usualy take to the racetracks for track days, ( mainly for fuel efficency ) and the pleasure of the ride...

and you can bet i put my GSXr's racing pedagree to use when i visit the track rather its the strip or the curcuit...Learn some genuine driving techniques? learn to read ur MTO book and get a licence kiddo

  • @CemetaryGatesML

Dude you could say as much as you want on the internet, 3x a year? I go to the track every fortnight! I've driven the Aventador, and you've been doing what since you were 16? talking crap? if you really do know all that crap that's coming out of your own mouth, then you should understand the important of control in a vehicle, your so called muscle cars lack great amounts of it, I too love my muscle and power cars, however I don't ignore that fact.. You're not Dominic Toretto

  • @hadongan your calling me dominic toretto? comin from the guy that says its all about streetracing drifting around moutain roads? HAHAHAHHAHAHAHA stfu kid!

you go to the race track ever fortnight? do you actualy race on the track?

3x a year... yea because this shit is expensive and far. so is a teacher.

ur sooo fucking stupid.... and fyi dude...a muscle car can do whatever you want, its all about how you build it.
