The reason why the keeper at 5:49 was allowed to run unchallenged is because the other team passed the ball back to the keeper who scored in sporting behaviour, but he slipped and it went in, the team who had just scored then said that's not right, we'll allow you to run unchallenged and score a goal to put us back level again ^^
Its funny because when goalkeepers score they try to run away from their team mates and if they dont the team mates just grab them and pull them around.
Poot guy at 3:34 he had no space to run to so the players grabbed him and one jumped on top of him.
Haha, I am a goalkeeper and i just scored today. We up 3-0 with about a minute left and we had a PK. The assistant referee yelled out that I should take it and my team brought me over. It was awesome!
@hellblazes1998 Some times when the full time have run out and the extra time is like 10 seconds away from ending goalkeepers attack in the last few seconds ..
@BIGSNOUT the opposing team were allowed a goal that wasn't suppose to be a goal, the referee realised too late and decided to give the other team back a goal
doing a collection of emotional value in soccer without the sound "commentator & Crowd" makes the video less pleasant, there are people who put music over and with the original sound. but thanks anyway
@zomgahmike These two teams (Nottingham Forest and Leicester City) played each other in a previous match which was abandoned at Half-Time after a Leicester City player collapsed in the dressing room following a heart attack - Nottingham Forest were winning 1-0 at the time. So when the team's replayed each other, Leicester allowed Nottingham to have a "free" goal at the start to make things fair again. Leicester went on to win the match 3-2 however ;)
@SeanMurrayl yeah, they kicked the ball out because one of their players was injured, and when they kicked the ball back to the keeper, they accidently scored. So they evened things out :) haha.

@MegaLolz21 Well that's wrong. Do you even watch soccer? If the ball is played back with one's feet and the keeper collects it with his hands, then it's a backpass. It doesn't matter if it's in the air or not! One can header or chest the ball back and the keeper can collect it with his hands, that's the only time when it's not a backpass.
That's why Coupet has to header the ball in this video: watch?v=iieYg7Sm8FM
It was a lobbed back pass & he can't collect it with his hands.
The back-pass rule was introduced in 1992 to discourage time-wasting and overly defensive play after the 1990 World Cup was described as exceedingly dull, rife with back-passing and goalkeepers holding up the ball. Also, goalkeepers would frequently drop the ball and dribble it around, only to pick it up again once opponents came closer to put them under pressure; a typical time-stalling technique.
wikipedia. Before 1992 backpasses were okay, i'm guessing this is from before 1992
"Forest Keeper Paul Smith is aloud to score a "free goal" after the original tie had been abandoned, due to a injury to Clive Clarke, with Forest Leading 1-0"
@kh7hero It was a replayed English cup game between Notts Forest & Leicester. In the first game one of the Leicester players suffered heart failure at half time and was seriously ill so both teams agreed to abandon the game. In the abandoned game Notts Forest were leading 1-0. So in the replayed game and in a great show of sportsmanship the Leicester players allowed Forest to score to give them back the lead they had from the abandoned game.
A really superb collection of goals and I'll look forward to watching part 2 now. I especially like the upset reaction of the defender on the line at 5:37 who then collapses in a heap after Marco Amelia's goal. :)
Leicester City agreed to give Forest a free goal in the Football League Cup second round after the original tie was abandoned when City's Clive Clarke collapsed at half time when Forest were up 1-0. Forest ended up losing the game 3-2.
