  • hah in your face pink haired cocky cunt!

  • I think James was about to start crying when the flying scotsman was entering.

  • German train should have got a welcome. I would have stayed up just because they were such good sports about the whole thing.

  • @dilwich123 The German's didn't win the race...

  • Good God, I had a tear in my eye looking at the silly bastard. What ludicrousness. It was the music, that's what it must have been.

    *sniff*

God rest you, Bill Sparshaft, or however the bloody hell you spell your name. God rest you, whatever consonants you may use. God rest you, Sir.

  • What was the ending song?

  • @iQuibbler He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother by The Hollies.

  • German steam train: the solder who would not stop fighting the war

  • poor german steam train

  • I feel sorry for the poor German steam train, seemed completely unloved and unwanted at the end, much like a miniature Ford Scorpio.

  • 2 miles

  • my eyes got watery when the steamer pulled in.

  • I geared up when the flying scotsman fijished

  • @Primedavis1234 Same here! So did May!

  • When Hornby introduced the 'realistic chuffing noise', to their range of train sets, they would never have imagined how much emotion it could produce, nearly forty odd years later.

  • Oz Clarke AWOL in pub, Stop.

  • Ahh well, who won the war!

  • I loved 'The Shawshank Redemption' music and movie. Also the epic ending of James 'Flying Scottman' journey to.

  • love the way may kept on saying ''with realistic chuffing noise''

  • They added the thomas 'just to rub it in', thats cruel.

  • 6:00 u can see james almost crying when he sees his train coming into the station

  • "I can hear the realistic chuffing noise"

  • where did the patriot and the little giant tank engine come from

  • at 1:35 the 125 crashed into the platform!

  • I was so happy to see the Flying Scotsman come into the station!

  • I cried when the Flying Scotchman arrives!!!

  • @Santanser I came pretty close to that myself - and no wonder. That was a truly emotional moment, seeing James May finally make it from Barnstaple to Bideford with No. 4472, quite a massive achievement for a 40-year-old model locomotive.

  • @Santanser i did too

  • thanks for the upload!

  • I literally laughed out loud when they started playing the Thomas theme.

  • well done GB, but its sad that the German steam engine got no welcome

  • look in the credits "Oz Clarke played by Oz Clarke"
