when i was 7 my dad took trash 2 tha township dump and he found one in a dumpster and the only thing rong with it is it had a chunk of the headstock tookin off of it but it works perfectly
how simaler to a strat is the gunslinger cause it looks amazing but a love the feel of strats and feel is the most important for me when buying a guitar
its so much because you know the retro gunslinger lightening bolt one that they make out of the costom shop factory well the reissue is 3200 as it is and that being original is what makes it so valuble its honestly the best guitar iv ever played
me and my dad have a original 1989 b.c.rich gunslinger california made with a maple neck that isnt coated like eddie van halens frank how the neck gets dirty which is actually really cool and has coostom paint job wev asked around and people said thed buy it for 6500 bucks
Since old 80's slingers' normally sell in the $5-600 range, I'd sell that gunslinger of yours (if I were you). Go buy a Wayne and a SLO with that kind of money.
The new San Dimas and Socal are Fender Strats with Charvel's name on the neck plate and headstock. Fender supplied the necks and bodies for these guitars.
Not exactly- The bodies are fender fat strats, The necks are a charvel shape and are not related to a start in the feel department. The neck, which is the best part of the axe (IMO) is MIM.
Actually the Bodies of the San Dimas are the older style Fender Deluxe American H-H Strat. The necks on these guitars are fender with the Charvel profile and compound radius. The Charvel video I seen about these guitars clearly said that the bodies and necks were supplied by Fender. Everything else Charvel did, pups, electronics, routing, hardware, colour, and assembly. I want one of these in the worst way. I have a 1986 BC Rich Assassin ST-III, Ibanez RGR 320EX,Fender Lonestar Strat, Dean Evo
I seen the video too and he is correct in what he is saying (northlander30). Northlander I just checked out a few of your vids nice trains too btw lol, that is a gorgeous BC Rich! I remember them back then but never seen that colour b4 where did you get and would you sell it?
Hey thanx for telling me about thos gary kramer guitars i never heard of them. they actualy had 3 at a local music shop and I played the "Custom Stock Model" as its called. That shit is nice :) it was cheaper thru the GKG site too! Im getting that geetar! Thanx man
Strikers aren't even in the same ballpark. Tee closest Kramer that would compare, would be the 83" Pacer reissue or maybe some of the gary kramer production stuff. I've also played some of the UNK guitars, and they don't compare either as they're handmade and not production line guitars.
alright man thanx. I trust your opinion on the fact that I cant play a kramer cuz their nowhere to be found here plus the bigass price difference so yea im sure the Gunslinger is good. Well ill keep searching for one in the 699 n under price range! Later man Thanx again.
If you're looking for something under $700, I'd be on the lookout for an Ibanez RG1550, RG500/570 or the RG350. They are all amazing and play really well to. the 350 is at a price point where you could add whatever pu's you want. If you haven't done so already, take a look at Bare Knuckle pickups, Tom Anderson and Suhr.
The fake Floyd is completely different. It is made of non-hardened steel. The post and knife-edge of the bridge where the bridge actually pivots is soft so it wears. The wear keeps it from returning to perfect tune so it will not stay in tune if you use the trem. Sucks. ORIGINAL FLOYDS ONLY
The charvel doesn't have a Korean made floyd the guitar is all USA. get your facts straight first man. Not trying to be mean or anything.
CharvelSlinger1989 1 year ago
@CharvelSlinger1989
1) No Floyds are made in the USA, so it can't be "all USA" as you claim.
2) The USA Charvels MOST DEFINATELY came with a Korean made (Ping) Floyd Rose.
3) Get YOUR facts straight.

Even though it's made in Korea, is the Floyd still considered original?

Its still original. Nothing is different about it except the fact that it made in Korea.
