I support Ron Paul even though I am pro choice. This has been tough, but I do not agree with sending troops overseas and having them get killed and assist in the killing of others in our name. I cannot vote for Obama because of this. Ron Paul is calling out all pro life people by telling them they cannot be pro life in one aspect, then disregard life due to militarism that is unconstitutional. I support him for being the only candidate to bring this up in debates.

@surfer53 I know. I actually had to call into NPR a few weeks ago to correct them on this, as well. He has supported legislation in favor of life and has introduced the Sanctity of Life Act. He did this as a counter measure to Federal legislation that was already in place.

We worked harder and longer than public did
ya and schools need better funding but by making people pay out of pocket wont help that it needs to be funded better and private schools tend to only be better because they give 1 on 1 attention you can ask at lunch for help on homework and stuff like that but you also have to want to put in the work and having smaller classes helps as well and if the schools were funded more into smaller classes we wouldnt have just a huge problem but defense is getting msot of the gov money

I support Ron Paul even though I am pro choice. This has been tough, but I do not agree with sending troops overseas and having them get killed and assist in the killing of others in our name. I cannot vote for Obama because of this. Ron Paul is calling out all pro life people by telling them they cannot be pro life in one aspect, then disregard life due to militarism that is unconstitutional. They have to pass everyone so they get funding...so really there is no education.

@kazooga1234 yeah, private schools that are so rich...my school had nothing but poor to middle-class kids. My dad probably made the most money...the public schools had WAY more funding in Alaska than the private schools and the private schools STILL achieved better in academics. I went through public high school to play sports, but there were only a handful of kids that could keep up with most of the kids I went to private school with. We worked harder and longer than public did

ya and schools need better funding but by making people pay out of pocket wont help that it needs to be funded better and private schools tend to only be better because they give 1 on 1 attention you can ask at lunch for help on homework and stuff like that but you also have to want to put in the work and having smaller classes helps as well and if the schools were funded more into smaller classes we wouldnt have just a huge problem but defense is getting msot of the gov money

@kazooga1234 Does everyone need to go through high school? Why aren't we teaching our children like we once did and places like Sweden still do?
Educate with concrete subjects until the eighth grade and then decide between a trade school and college prep school. My grandparents graduated the eight grade and they were both extremely smart...there is a dying generation of engineers that were educated much quicker than we do now. Algebra can be taught in seventh and eighth grade

@imatruthaddict yes you moron because if you dont go through school you cant find a job and highschoolers cant even find jobs let alone highschool drop outs if you go to college then you can find a job but if you dont you are pretty much fucked and there is at least one tytuniversity that somebody sent in about how they didnt go to college and regreted it because they couldnt get a job and it made things a hell of a lot worse you grandparents also lived in a different time period

@kazooga1234 If funding if from property taxes then the "poor" are still contributing anyways through the increase in rent. I think you aren't seeing past things being cheaper when the government IS NOT involved. Plus I think a voucher system would do wonders to increase competition amongst public and private schools. Esp with the vast difference between a private and public education...I would want to put MORE pressure on teachers to get parents involved like private and charter SH
