you can hear the bass if u listen for it and its hard to hear in slipknot because they have alot of instruments playing all at once

Well you shouldn't have to listen that closely.  It is a musical instrument in music, you should just be able to hear it. That is my point.

If you know what to listen for and listen closely, you are able to hear it. Look at songs like Wait And Bleed And Surfacing.
