We used to run 15 psi (which is probably what we were at for this particular video, then we went down to 13, then eventually to 10... now I usually run about 8, but I can only do it because I have those tires stuffed onto 8-inch-wide rims. If you have ten inch wide rims, I wouldn't try going that low.

Nice rig. I would do Detroit lockers front and rear. They only cost me $700 a piece and they were def worth it. I'm running Dana 30 and Dana 35 Lockers with 33" never had anything break yet with the lockers

Actually I believe they are, from the looks he's running a built Dana30 front with a locker and then a Chrysler 8.25 or Dana44 rear

@SkooledMedic same what I run... 8.25 had held up fine... but the dana 30 definatly stress espically when you put over sized tires on it.

The axles are both stock (Dana 30 up front and Dana 44 in the rear), although the Dana 44 in the rear got swapped onto it from an older XJ (they put 44's under them from 87-89 if it had a factory tow package). It has 8 inches of lift, Rusty's longarms, 35 inch Goodyear MT/Rs, 4.88 gears, and an Eaton Electrac locker in the rear.

It does have a locker in the rear but it wasn't working properly (you saw it randomly unlock on Potato Salad Hill, which is why my tire spun up and snapped the yoke when it came back down). The reason it might look like I have lockers is because I sometimes ride my brakes on steep climbs to keep any single tire from spinning too much... It's just a cheap man's traction control, but it works well.

Gears in it right now are 4.88's. Even with running 35's I still have plenty of power. Freeway speed is 75 at 2,500 rpm, so that might be a little high if you are running on the freeway a lot, but it still gets me to Moab each time, so it must not be too bad for it...

The Rusty's lift feels fine now that I have re-torqued everything a few times... The rear driveshaft was replaced with a new shaft and SYE but the front is still stock (and hasn't broken yet).

It is a Rusty's 6 1/2 inch LA kit along with Rubicon Express Boomerang Shackles, so it's about 8 inches... for now. That lift with the Bushwackers make the 35's stuff just fine.
