  • You're missing the point bro. You are right that science and religion don't contradict but history and religion certainly do

    For what its worth creationists (you may call us that, I prefer it over cretard) accept speciation. Our denial of it is a myth which is spread by your side, Dawkins in particular. I have a video on Ring Species where I use a clip of a famous creationist discussing speciation and how it obviously exists.

  • While there is no philosophical antagonism between theism and science, science precludes the possibility of considering religious ideas because it employs methodological naturalism. While this is technically an epistemic weakness of science as a philosophy, in practice it's ultimately the most reliable form of human knowledge. The question is not whether you can posit the existence of God outside of science, because you certainly can, but the issue is that God is by def. not science.
