I found the sheet notes of this song, and I showed to my grandmother..(who has played for Chicago, and New york philharmonic orchestra ) and i asked her to play it for me it put me to tears...this song it B.E.A.UTIFUL
What an amazing feeling - to be a conductor and *feel* the music surround you, knowing that you're in control of the crescendos, decrescendos, and the overall power of the music. I can only imagine how they must feel.
It gives you a real tingle! And when they make you smile, they smile with you and they follow everything you do! It's just wonderful, I can't describe it...like you said, you're feeling the music flowing through your fingers and through your being, like you're one with the music (I'm getting cheesy, I'll stop now, lol!)

Actually, every choir I've worked with has followed every single little gesture I make because the way I conduct makes them want to sing for me and enjoy it too! Since I'm guessing you've probably never conducted yourself, you can't possibly understand the feeling of being one with the music as it flows through you.
