I mean I'm a BIG fan of Harry Potter and I would love to play quidditch. It's just that i always wanted to actually be able to fly on a broom. I dunno, just doesn't seem like I would have fine playing this.
broomsticks exist because it s ont he rules to catch the quaffle only with one arm but i think the y could just put a rule for it...you know...like a foul i f you catch the quaffle with both hands or something...brooms are silly and dangerous...
ok the whole point is for it to be lik quidditch from the books. Thats whats so fun, for the fans at least. And its not like people are bashing others over the head with broomsticks. Its no worse that polo or rugbe or football.
Broomsticks exist because it's quidditch. It's an added element that makes it a lot harder to run and throw, and a lot easier to get hit. Catching with two hands is legal as long as the broom is between your legs.
why do people dislike the fact that people are doing something active for once rather than sitting around on their laptops never getting sunlight? i mean SERIOUSLY. it looks like fun, Just like any other sport who cares if it came from a book. Alot more challengein than other sports cause it combines alot of difficult sports.

Wow, what an awesome spectacle of true american grit and sportsmanship. Oh wait, im wrong, these people should all have shotgun barrels in their mouths. Thanks cracked for letting me know there's yet another group of people wasting their parents college money to be douchebags in a field..thats alot better than studying science or history or any real subject, fairy subjects r superior!
Dartmouth is in Hanover, NH. A school closer to you that I know plays is U Mass. I hope you can join a team! It is really fun to watch, and probably more fun to play!
This is so cool! We're trying to have a Quidditch tournament at our high school as a fundraiser for NHS. I'm proud to say that I was the one who suggested it!
Just to let fans know the Quidditch World Cup is being held at Middlebury this Sunday, the 26th. It starts at 10am and ends at 6pm. There is also supposed to be live music, "potions" experiments, owls and alpacas, and student fire jugglers. I hope there will be people there that will tape it, I can't go.
Wow! I couldn't see that much, but you did a good job and thank you so much for posting that! Quidditch at *Dartmouth*! Two schools I really want to go to: Middlebury & Dartmouth; their own Quidditch teams! Though Middlebury's totally owning Dartmouth...
I really need to get a Quidditch team going @ my high school... maybe we could make it an inter-scholastic event...
Thanks for watching! I know the picture wasn't that great. It was really bright out that day, so the color was a little off. I tried to make it better, as best as I could. I think that a lot of schools everywhere would want to play if they knew about the game.
Cool.

Tackling people with broomsticks between their legs? This could be the most dangerous sport known to man.. or at least his genitals.
