  • the pianist is superb!... though a bit fast. :-) congratulations.

  • The pianist is a smidge fast...

  • @vanilladioxide A LOT fast. Slow down, and make your movements a little more fluid and subtle, not so sharp! But, nice quality voice!!

  • Try not to make the singing so staccato, its about keeping the tempo while singing lyrically, the accompaniment keeps the beat by itself, make it more heartfelt, try doing the song as monologue before you start to sing it, that makes it easier to interpret. You have a lovely voice, very open and controlled, but you need to work on the technique of dynamics, making it more believable as a piece, and its a song if worked on that can be a good piece to add to your rep book.

  • Singing was good, but the acting was terrible.

  • Thank you. What would you do to make the character believable?

  • I think everything could've been a bit more subtle to make it more believable. But like I said, I did like the singing :)

  • It's too over the top, make it a little more realistic. Even though it's broadway and is musical theatre, these moments are always set in reality-- so make sure there is realism as well. Also, on the last crescendo-ing note, it was very quiet and then suddenly really loud. So try to make that more gradual. Good job though!! :)

  • Haha! That's a terrible habit of mine, I always jump the gun when it comes to dynamics. Thanks for pointing that out, though; I'll try and make them more subtle in the future. As for my acting, thanks for the pointers. I always tend to cheese it up too much when I have a real audience.
