THE INDIVISIBLE MANUFACTURE—A day before her death, from the hotel room adjacent to the shit-house where she crapped out, a hopped-up Whitney Houston rehearsed “I Will Always Love You.” She held closely to her danglers a purse that contained vital tools & contaminants. On the nightstand was an autographed portrait of Grover Cleveland. Whitney's texturalism wasn't all that it was purported and reported to be (texturalism n -s : rigid adherence to a text of the Scriptures).
I must say this; His life hasn't been the same since Linda's death. I guess "Another Day" has come and gone from Sir Paul McCartney. Nice tune, by the way.
I wish you a happy happy birthday Paulie.I hope this will be one of many many more birthdays to come.I just can't imagine a world without you.Keep illuminating this world for many many more years.I light a candle in my heart for you.I really love you.Paul McCartney lives forever!!!!
Watch a Pre-January 8th copy of Inception. Listen closely when the actors say imagine, reality, safe, and envelope, or point pistols. You'll hear the words, Loughner, offin' her, part of the word Giffords, and much more. Some say they hear, do it.
@thebeatles161 also, George Martin said that Paul was a better drummer than Ringo and played just as well guitar than George Harrison. Also, Ringo didn't make music?
1971 was the year that many artists had their debut albums... Paul McCartney with Ram, Pink Floyd with Meddle, Yes with the Yes Album, Rod Stewart with Maggy May, Focus with Hocus Pocus, ECT. 1971 was a year that really rocked!
@dobrautero 1971 was the year that many artists had their most critically acclaimed albums. Lennon with 'Imagine' Who with 'Who's next' , Marvin Gaye with What's going On The Doors with 'LA woman' and Jethro Tull with Aqualung
@Thebestbuddy1986 yes, Wix is celarly skilled, especially since he's mostly a keyboard/piano player but also plays acosutic guitar on some songs like this. He's been playing with McCartney longer than any other post-Beatles band member, and still is. He also works for other stars such as Joe Walsh on their tours when not touring with Macca. Paul put wix in charge of production of many official videos that are VHS/DVD, even at Paul's white House performance Wix was musical director.
@QueenBeatlesWings Right, he's been named Musical Director since 2002 tours, and besides he plays electric guitar in All My Loving, Can't Buy Me Love & She Came In Trough The Bathroom Window, and I'm pretty sure he plays bass in Helter Skelter (maybe it's electric guitar too). Anyways, it's obvious he never needed Linda as keyboardist partner, although Linda fulfilled the task of shaking up the tambourine and maracas.
@QueenBeatlesWings In fact, Wix also shake the maracas in songs like Fine Line & Too Many People, and remember the accordion tunes. All in all, he's gotta be the most talented from Paul's band, if not the indispensable one. Checking Eleanor Rigby & Yesterday, you can see how useful he is. He's the one who plays instruments in more songs after Paul does. Even so, Abe, Brian & Rusty complete the band perfectly with their own roles perfomed in perfection. Just GREAT!!!
@thebeatles161 dude youre spanish and u have 11, you kno nothing about rock music, paul is the best beatle more than harrison and lennon, obviusly ringo is not the best
@55vermeer Linda was more skilled at raising a family than Lennon and a better cook than Paul for example. she was the perfect woman for Paul and had many household talents, so just because she wasn't a professional musician, doesn't mean she wasn't talented/skilled at things.
And i know people who likes more the Kinks than The Beatles, to say McCa is better after The Beatles is wrong, and John was far better after the beatles, no contest actually. But i don't wanna argue with you about it, it's just an opinion. Anyway i love McCa, but it hurts me when people says, the "greatest" and assorted foolish things.
@Enslaved10 In the beatles he was god, but after the ebatles he lacks of personality, he is too soft, why do you think he sings Dear Friend and Too many people? Becuase he was hurt becasue his best friend (the one who provided their personality to the beatles) broke the band, Paul lvoed John, and John was a though guy but he admired and was jealous of his best friend Paul. Both together were amazing, but Paul fans can't realize that Paul needed John to be the best.
@Enslaved10 Paul lacks of personality, but he's a machine, a jukebox. He needs to get the personality from someone to write his songs, Let it die, he needs to write a soundtrack to be good, becuase his more personal material is very soft. Of course, as a composer he is the best for sure.
@Enslaved10 In my opinion John Lennon is the greatest solo musician, by far, but it's true that Paul is god. Anyway i prefer John over Paul, it's my taste, i'm tired of Pauñs being everyone favorite, Eleanor Rigby an so bores my, i prefer more original songs from Paul, and not the hit ones, example, Junk, or all my lving, over Back in the USSR. And John was the more original of all them, so i prefer him, but i love Paul don't get me wrong. Paul is not the King, that's stupid.
I'm not sure about that, i think it was something psicological i think George was as good as the other although John and Paul were more prolifici, and not sure that Paul was better than John, just take a look to his solo career. Paul is more gifted but, mmm, John is the best singer songwriter.
I don't know anything about bull fighting you ignorant aussie, i like Australia but i'm from Galicia (northwest) and the bulls are from the south of Spain, stop using topics, is there platypus in all Australia then? I'm a Paul McCartney but John is my one, that's all.
I meant i'm a beatle fan and Paul is incredible it's just i don't like when someone calls him the greatest becasue it hurts my Lennon heart, and poor George, becasue he was also cool. Where are you from? Perth, Brisbane, Queensland, Tasmania, Darwin? LOL.
this is the third song in the set so he is still warming up he sings really high even today he hasnt changed the key to make it any easier on himself as he gets older i have this concert i video taped it off tv back in 93 its excellent i just had it swapped on to dvd to keep the tape safe. paul rocks in or out of tune who cares he was a beatle and wrote some of the best songs ever written he is one of these guys who influenced the whole world the songs he wrote in the 50s and 60s still stand up
Yeah, not his best vocal performance, especially after having just listened to the album version. In the 90's his voice was still strong, so this was probably at the end of a long concert?

@BeechwoodSilasLang True, but it was Meddle that made them very well known, and helped them pave their way to their most successful album DSOTM.

McCartney was his first solo album in 1970.

Actually, his first was the soundtrack to THE FAMILY WAY, starring Hayley Mills. It's basically one instrumental piece, over and over as I recall

It is a cliché that John Lennon was better
than Mcartney and that it is cool to be a Lennon fan.
He became a semi-god just like James
Dean. Elvis, Marilyn,As soon as he was dead.
Die young, tragicly and you will forever be better than anyone alive.
They both were good, they were The Beatles.
They were brothers,enough said ¡
