This was absolutely brilliant. Tearfully fantastic. I choked up when Rose's theme Played at the end. The best couple in the entire new series. I try to forget nine but he is forever ingrained in my heart. This song is poignantly accurate for them. Awesome vid five-starred favorited and loved. Thank you.

me too :) I totally loved it. it was the first Dr Who video I've seen that uses this song. Actually, I've been thinking about using it myself. You gave me some great ideas! The part with the fading Doctor was just Fantastic! And most of the dialog was very well suited.
Could you just tell me what program you used? I've already made a couple of fan videos myself, but can't seem to find the right program. And the one you use seems to offer a lot.
@Cyclonebg I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6, which is a smaller (aka cheaper ;) ) version of Sony Vegas. I believe the current version is 10. Anyway, it definitely is a great program and, even though it's missing some of the bells and whistles of the full version, it still really does offer a lot. I love it! :D ♥!

anything dealing with nine and rose makes me warm inside. their interactions are so heart felt and their story is just a treasure.
i hold truth to the fact that if Chris didn't choose to leave Season 2 would have been very different and the episodes would have had a more romantic and emotional and dark twist, such as GiTF, DD, Idiots Lantern, The Impossible Planet & Satan's Pit.

I'm a 9/Rose fan all the way, so I'm always happy to see vids that focus on them and you really editted this beauitfully in terms of some of the effects you used. I loved how you'd cookie cutter scenes of them together into things like the observation window, and by the Tardis in space and then at the end how you managed to make just him fade out, really nice use of effects!

I liked how you reversed the angle of the scenes (wish Chris' mole wasn't so obvious at times so it wouldn't be apparent) because it gives it a fresh look. The transitions and effects were beautiful and the pacing was so sweet. Love the song. 5 stars and Faved.

Hey, alzarianfix! The shot at the end was a partial still picture effect where I basically used a pic of the scene without the Doctor in it and faded it in over him walking away while trying not to fade Rose out, too. ;)
I had to get a bit sneaky to make that picture without the Doctor or Rose in it by screencapping the scene at various points then compiling them all together to get a "clean" shot without them in it. ;) The only reason it worked was because the camera was in a stationary position and didn't move while they moved, lol! ;)

Oh, wow. That is the most amazing, breathtaking, beautiful video *ever*. And I can't believe you used that song - I heard it on the radio a few weeks ago, and immediately thought of the Doctor and Rose. I even changed my signature to a line from the song (We walked along a crowded street/ You took my hand and danced with me), and I had *the exact images you used * in mind for that bit. And as if I wasn't already crying like a baby, those images from 'Doomsday' completely did me in.
I love Nine and Rose so much. And Christopher Eccleston. Mind, David Tennant has really grown on me by now, but it was so hard getting used to him and letting go of the awesomeness that is Christopher Eccleston. Nine and Rose and their wonderful friendship will always have a special place in my heart.

me too :) I totally loved it. it was the first Dr Who video I've seen that uses this song. Actually, I've been thinking about using it myself. You gave me some great ideas! The part with the fading Doctor was just Fantastic! And most of the dialog was very well suited.

@Cyclonebg I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio 6, which is a smaller (aka cheaper ;) ) version of Sony Vegas. I believe the current version is 10. Anyway, it definitely is a great program and, even though it's missing some of the bells and whistles of the full version, it still really does offer a lot. I love it! :D ♥!

anything dealing with nine and rose makes me warm inside. their interactions are so heart felt and their story is just a treasure.
i hold truth to the fact that if Chris didn't choose to leave Season 2 would have been very different and the episodes would have had a more romantic and emotional and dark twist, such as GiTF, DD, Idiots Lantern, The Impossible Planet & Satan's Pit.

Aw, shucks, thank you! (Considering I'm having one of those days when I feel like a talentless twit, that was *really* nice to read! ;) ) That disappearing effect came from me creating an "empty" picture of the background without the Doc and Rose in it, then carefully fading it over just him with Vegas's cookie cutter. It took me a bunch of tries, let me tell you! ;) Anyway, thanks so very much for such an awesome comment! :D ♥!

Wow you really did a fantastic job with this! I'm a 9/Rose fan all the way, so I'm always happy to see vids that focus on them and you really editted this beauitfully in terms of some of the effects you used. I loved how you'd cookie cutter scenes of them together into things like the observation window, and by the Tardis in space and then at the end how you managed to make just him fade out, really nice use of effects!

Aww ^^ That's so cute. I LOVED the 9th Doctor ^^ I thought he was so cute with Rose. Don't get me wrong though, I do like the 10th Doctor but the 9th Doc will always be a win for me.

The scenes the song, the idea of him really dying there, Rose grieving... and especially the scene at 3:05 where first she's with the doctor and then alone... I absolutley love it!

This was utterly brilliant. It was really sad and I loved that soft beatuse. You're choice of words was great, when i first watched that ep. I fell in love with the line, "I could save the world but loose you."

What a gorgeous piece of editing. Very lovely.
I liked how you reversed the angle of the scenes (wish Chris' mole wasn't so obvious at times so it wouldn't be apparent) because it gives it a fresh look. The transitions and effects were beautiful and the pacing was so sweet. Love the song. 5 stars and Faved.

Hey, alzarianfix! The shot at the end was a partial still picture effect where I basically used a pic of the scene without the Doctor in it and faded it in over him walking away while trying not to fade Rose out, too. ;)

I had to get a bit sneaky to make that picture without the Doctor or Rose in it by screencapping the scene at various points then compiling them all together to get a "clean" shot without them in it. ;) The only reason it worked was because the camera was in a stationary position and didn't move while they moved, lol! ;)

Oh, wow. That is the most amazing, breathtaking, beautiful video *ever*. And I can't believe you used that song - I heard it on the radio a few weeks ago, and immediately thought of the Doctor and Rose. I even changed my signature to a line from the song (We walked along a crowded street/ You took my hand and danced with me), and I had *the exact images you used * in mind for that bit. And as if I wasn't already crying like a baby, those images from 'Doomsday' completely did me in.

I love Nine and Rose so much. And Christopher Eccleston. Mind, David Tennant has really grown on me by now, but it was so hard getting used to him and letting go of the awesomeness that is Christopher Eccleston. Nine and Rose and their wonderful friendship will always have a special place in my heart.

I wasn't sure how well it would be received that I used the "Doomsday" footage of Rose to show her crying over Nine, when of course it was Ten in the actual ep. But then I figured, hey, they're both the Doctor, so why not? ;)

Ohh, Aislynn -- I finally got a chance to sit down in a quiet room and watch this. This is so heartbreakingly lovely, and the editing is superb, really. I never realized just *how many* scenes 9/R had together that smacked of romance!

This is excellent, truly fantastic (to quote the classics). Great song choice, perfect imagery for every line - from 'your fingertips..' right to the very end; good pace and marvelous effects. It actually tugged on my rusty heartstrings and the ending - with Rose left alone in the crowd - played an entire requiem. Thank You.
