Anyone who begins her argument with HAHAHA or concludes with LOL can not be taken very seriously.
I'm a middle aged, intelligent adult. You need to try a lot harder to keep my attention. I don't believe in God, and I have yet to hear a good reason to change my mind. I require facts, not just promises. I also don't blindly believe things, because I'm not an idiot.
Christopher Hitchins did more for mankind than any religious zealot has ever done. The world is better because he lived in it.
Hitchens had it sussed out years ago..........I mean God waited while Adam slept and then stole one of his ribs to make woman.........LOL Is that the best they could come up with.......Religion has always been about power and control by the few.......... Over women and masses of ignorant men brainwashed as children........but Hitchens opened a few minds..........Just one more thing, his put down on the death of Rev Jerry Falwell (Here on you tube) is not to be missed.......Hitchens Gold.
All have sinned and greatly offended the holy God of the bible. The just punishment is death then hell. Thats not Gods will. Gods will is that none perish. God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ suffered and died on the cross paying for the law you broke in His lifes blood now He cane legally dismiss your case. You must repent turn from sin and trust alone in Jesus Christ for your eternal salvation.
Something Hitchens said about Judaism still leaves me wondering what he really meant. He said that "Zionism was a waste of Judaism" ...... Anyone care to explain?
If you go to Lourdes you will see that the queue for the female holy water baths is about a mile long and the male baths stretches to...half a dozen appx'
The source of the birth of Krisna is of least importance. He wud not bcom less divine if we came 2 know that he indeed had an earthly father. Same is the case with other important 'Avatar' Lord Rama. They lived & married like ordinary men and had children. Budha was definately born of ordinary birth. He married, had a child and then he went on the path of truth. Women are celebrated in Hinduism like in no other relligion. 1000 years of aggressive monotheist assaults hav distorted our relligion.
Read Hitch 22.... He is a very distinct intellectual. The books he references in his memoirs seem to be required reading for all and I will be working my way though them.
Absolutely gutted he died. I have read every book he has written and must have seen practically every debate and interview he has ever done..I have learned so much through him not just about what he knows but about how to argue and debate with people and that it is healthy rewarding and fun...
@vernontap then you should know that there are things you should learn for yourself, rather then to listen to someone else's belief system and the perspective of life. I think that Hitchens would be more pleased if you stated you have learnt to think for yourself and to question the things. Speaking of his viewpoint - that should be question too =)
Buddha was not born a virgin? Religion is made up, and often the founding stories of these religions are changed overtime, or there are multiple versions of the same stories. Buddha was born a virgin/wasn't born a virgin; I'm sure both stories are available and taken by followers to be true. Like Islam, Buddhism can appear to have an enticing philosophy, but dig a little deeper, learn about the hells in buddhism, learn about its sexist dogma and you'll find the corruption of man is at its heart
@NeverAloneForever The question is not "born a virgin" but rather "born OF a virgin" i.e. an immaculate conception. The correlation between virginity and divinity has resulted in a systematic aversion to the female sex. Instead of embracing that which actually gives life; i.e. the female biological reproductive system, as the source of life, claim instead that divine creatures preceded any vaginal contact, so as to refute any possible connection between the female sex and the divinity of life.
Hitchens will forever reign as our chosen leader. His greatness was overshadowed by his brash, outspokenness and fearless,open-minded demeanor. He debated so eloquently, factual evidence against simplistic conjecture and fallacy, with such individualistic dynamic charisma, like no other individual, of our day and age could ever have attempted to do. He was a man of tremendous foresight and vision. His genius has given us the freedom to break the shakels of theistic belief once and for all.
It would would seem to me that the virgin birth is present in various religions because the baby 'god' incarnate would need to be entirely separated from the act of a common man inserting his penis the old fashioned way, and clearly from some type of divine implantation. So, I think this is a more obvious explanation than what Hitchens describes here.
Religion's original treatment of women is one of the major reasons that I began to doubt in the first place. If God really loves me, why would he treat women like that and expect his sons to treat us like that? Hitchens will be missed.
Today I wanted to browse some stuff on ikea.de website and accidentally typed idea.de ... On that website (which turned out to be a christian news portal), I saw a thumbnail saying "Aggressive Atheist: Christopher Hitchens died"...
@Al1981X Yep, Hitchens and Dawkins are legends of our time. Amazing intellectuals. While I agree and fascinated by their discourses, thing he said about the Buddha seems to be not valid. I am in the process of studying Theravada Buddhism (which is only about the lectures/sermons by Buddha etc), and anybody who are fascinated by logics of Dawkins will most probably will get attracted to Buddhas logics. Buddha was born to a queen, and nowhere it is mentioned she was a virgin, not that...
@MimicaXresurrected you did'nt know him?! boaaaa... he was one of the greatest minds we had in this time: a fusion of marx, jefferson(his personal hero), paine, socrates, voltaire etc.... he was the one and only: TheHitch, famous for his classic hitchslaps against every religitard and other political morons.
@venustasveritatis Do you think the guy knows who Hitchens is now? Considering the amount of replies he has of which people keep replying to...... END IT!
@MimicaXresurrected Well, that's a damned shame but all is not lost. Christopher Hitchens will live on through his books and the world wide web. So, be thankful you at least have heard of him now. You're in for many wonderful moments when you read his words, or listen to him speak. He held strong feminist views that give me much hope that things can get better for women. How long this will take is anyone's guess.

Some people want young white females to mix with non-white males.
I made a one-minute video highlighting a very small sample of race-mixing advertisements.
I love white people, and I am opposed to race-mixing. But I do not hate non-whites.
If you click on my name “awhitesoul2012” highlighted in blue below this comment, you can watch my video.
Thanks.

HIT THAT GUY WITH KNOWLEDGE!
Hitchens was a journalist known for his sharp words and his many books, the most notable one arguably being "God is Not Great"
A great debater, and great to listen to at any time of the day.
At least, you now found him. Boundless strips of his verse can be found on the tubes and elsewhere on the nets. Find them and be amazed
