  • why the fuck firefox and msn wont open

  • How to solve this? i dont like google chrome and internet explorer, i like firefox, any ideas?

  • Great video. Firefox is slow as molasses to do anything. I'd switch to google chrome but I'm concerned over security. Also its a nightmare to do advanced stuff on google chrome (like have it show you your bookmarks).

  • maybe the fireFOX is Tired...

  • new realse just came up. the problem is still there..

  • Windows XP? Enable NetBIOS on all your network connections, rather than letting it be automatic. This solved similar net bugs back in the day.

  • lol... looks like I'm not the only one with this problem on a high end PC

you know it's bad when people are going back to IE over this lol!

they better do something soon the lag with you-tube and there ridiculous amount of CPU and Memory usage needs to go!

I really hate lag great video :)

  • same problem too...

  • got the same problem too... i just haaate this slow loading. i usually end up restarting my PC.

  • Funny if you first load task manager, then Firefox loads fast! Go figure

  • i am having big troubles with firfox, idont know why you tube wont start, and when forwarding a hotmail messae body will be lost, what the heck

  • And if Firefox RUNS slow, i.e., won't let the full speed of your internet provider through --->

Change save history time from default of 90 days to 10. Purging cache doesn't kill all history data. It has to go through all 90 days to run something.

  • i somtimes have problems opening mozilla firefox when i close it and try to reopen it it wont open

  • Which "She" song is this? I haven't heard it before.....

And yeah, I had this same problem on one of my PCs. Right pain in the arse....

  • Same here and not just at start up. I went back to Fx 2 but most add-ons no longer support it. I've gone back to IE and Chrome and I also have RAM spare now. I am very disappointed with Firefox now and that makes me sad.

  • strange how it is so slow on some peoples computers, never had a problem on mine!!

  • okay, i tried downloading mozilla firefix 3.5.4

and when i get to the download wizard it says that the file is corrupt.

    can somebody help?

  • yeah ok, for me, mozilla firefox wont come up at all, or internet explorer, why could this be and could anyone help me with it, or show me vids that solve this problem?

  • mine doesnt work at all iv tried to re download it and it still doesnt work could u help me

  • "FireupFail 3.5" :p

  • I thought I was the only one, I finally downloaded it yesterday and its been slow and crashing and not letting me close tabs, I went back to using internet explorer but thats not as fast either, hope they come up with a fix

  • yes its the same for me LrdDarkFyre So im using safari bcs google chrome fuck up at installation but w8 for firefox uptdate

  • WTF....

  • wow that is bad, I never had a problem on start up, but I am noticing that if I close the browser from time to time the process does not close and so firefox will not open. I am also noticing at times when I go to some websites like facebook at times I have to reload the page a few times before the content actually shows. Anyone know if they fixed firefox to be able to play pogo games?

  • fast writing omg... :P

  • 3.5.2 solved this problem I believe, I didn't really have an issue with startup and I'm willing to wait a couple of seconds for a great browser but in your case this is really major.

  • the only bug I see its windows!...

  • Mac users have had the same problem

  • colorschan , wrong again Im a power user biatch!!!!

    I use linux....

  • Good for you. Then you dont have this problem. move along now :)

  • FAKE

  • When I updated to 3.5, the startup wasn't as bad as this but it was noticeably slower than 3.0.11. I immediately went back to 3.0.11. I just updated to 3.0.12 and it seems to be alright.

  • Firefox often takes 30+ seconds to load. Endtasking then reopening works. Switched browsers to something more stable until this is fixed.

  • my doesnty even frikking startup and im pissed the fuck off

  • "Now fuck off ;"

Tha't how I felt after 'upgrading' to the latest and greatest firefox 3.5

What a shoddy release. Such a hige bug wasn't caught despite months of beta testing? ULTRAFAIL.

  • 3.5.1 is the same, no issues resolved.

  • Comment removed

  • Thats weird. I realized it became slower... but not that slow... Maybe 10 to 12 seconds slower at startup than Firefox 3.0.11

  • hey i agree with you man!

  • on Vista 64, 2.83GHz Quad, 8GB ram, had to empty the 4GBs in the Recycle bin for the user to get a normal Firefox 3.5 startup. But strange that the Beta process did not catch this bug?

  • Q6600, 2Gb, Gigabyte DS3R XP SP2

15 seconds for me to startup.

I feel bad now for googling "firefox slow to start up" now...lol.

  • Toshiba A200-1CN just -5 secs :)

  • The firefox team knows that, try deleting and cleaning the temporary files and folders generated by IE

  • theres an issue with firefox 3.5 its slow to start that sucks theyl probably fix it soon

  • What's the name of the song?

  • why are you running sp2 still?

  • Same for me. 2 minutes minimum. FIASCO!

  • Firefox has always been slow to startup but this bug makes it worse.

  • same here takes 3 mins

  • its the launching process that hangs, not the actual FF process itself, they have different PIDs, if you use process explorer by sysinternals you can kill the launching process and it takes seconds to load. the actual FF process also lingers when closed. its a pain in the ass to be honest, also when killing the lingering process sometimes you lose saved data for that session, such as info stored in the password manager.

  • hahah, all you updated are all suckaas! I knew shit was happenning to ff3.5 bc the RC bluescreened my damn laptop. I'm rocking ff3.0 and lovin' it. I'm gonna wait for a couple hotfixes before my transition. That way all the extensions should be up to date as well.

  • same with me but it took me

    20 minutes...

  • Staying with 3.0.11 until the major bugs in 3.5 are fixed in 3.5.1. There's too much to lose: some people say they've lost all their settings, profile, bookmarks in the upgrade to 3.5 and can't them back by rolling back to 3.0.11. If you've got your bookmarks etc backed up there shouldn't be that sort of problem but why take the chance. Thanks for posting this vid.

  • the same here, after updating ff to version 3.5 ist takes up to 2 minutes to be started.

  • The same weird thing happened to me just some days ago while i'm using it in my laptop, i waited an estimated of 1 minute plus grr!!!

    Thanks for this video:)

  • It happens to me too... Takes up to 3 minutes to start. Quite annoying!

  • I'll be using Chrome until FireFail 3.5 gets taken care of. This is really unacceptable.

  • xp pro sp3 here, same slow start problem.

  • same problem with xp pro sp 3 - takes up to 5 minutes to start - annoying

  • Comment removed

  • i use the FF 3.5 with widow 7 rc 7100 & no probleme

    no luck man :/

  • arrogant fuck

  • Happens to me too, takes anywhere from 40 seconds to 2 minutes.

  • same Problem with Vista...
