If Joeclarik is not for the death penalty, then why does he not call for a new trial for Mumia to clear up the questions raised by the crime scene photo evidence with held by the prosecution? Why does possession of a gun imply that the gun was used to murder a cop when no ballistic tests were performed on the gun or powder tests on Mumia or Faulkner. Mumia is innocent. Mumia was framed. I was for the death penalty at one time until as we all know, some are found guilty on no eveidence. I am still not for the death penalty, no matter what the circumstances. The photos are crime scene and were used with additional evidence. The gun registered to him, his holster on his belt, the ammo from his gun. It is not necessary to have video of a murder to convict. He put himself where he is today and no one did that for or against him.

The nation is aware of the vast number of innocent people convicted and sent to death row because so many have been released after new evidence came to light. As a result most states with the notable exception of Texas have moved to abolish the death penalty or restrict its use. We need to ask why the Joe Clariks of our country refuse to acknowledge blatant suppression of evidence and witnesses in Mumia's case. If it was suppressed, how could we read it in the transcripts?

3 "witnesses" testified that Mumia stood over Faulkner. If you are for truth then deal with the suppressed evidence in photos showing no craters beside Faulkner's body where shots missed. You say only Mumia's prints were found on his gun when a suppressed photo clearly shows a cop holding it barehanded. How come the police did not test Mumia or his gun for blowback and recent firing. Mumia is innocent. Framed.

Mumia's gun was a 38 revolver and the gun that killed the cop was a 45. A man admitted to killing that cop, and the judge was over heard saying "I'm going to help them fry that nigger". Anyone who doubts that the gun found next to Jamal was actually his gun should have a look at the trial evidence. The gun was purchased by Mumia Abu-Jamal and registered in his name. A storeowner, Joseph Kohn, testified in 1982 and stated that he sold Jamal this exact gun on July 17, 1979. (Two years before Jamal became a cab driver.) He produced a purchase receipt with Jamal's signature on it and a serial number that matched Jamal's gun.

Official ballistics tests done on the fatal bullet verify that Officer Faulkner was killed by a .38 caliber bullet, not a .44 caliber bullet. The fatal .38 slug was a Federal brand Special +P bullet with a hollow base (the hollow base in a +P bullet was distinctive to Federal ammunition at that time).

Where do you get your information? A ballistics expert found it incredible that police at the scene failed to test Mumia's gun to see if it had been recently fired. The bullets taken from a body, the blood on them, the twists or markings on the bullets come from the barrel riflelings,and the pin on the hammer making a mark like no other. Once again, photographs are not balistics. Bullets from Officer Faulkners police issue weapon were found in Mumia's body. Bullets from the weapon found at the scene (with mumia's fingerprints were found in the body of Officer Faulkner. Again did he do it, the real hard ballistic evidence concludes this. Whether he should be put to death for it is another story.

Photos of the cop holding the guns with bare hands were with held from the defense. The photos are more significant than ballistics. That is why the prosecution buried them. Mumia was framed by a racist judge and prosecution in a so-called justice system racist to the core. Mumia did not kill Faulkner.

1. There were two people with gunshot wounds, one critical.

2. There were only two guns found at the scene of the murder.

3. Bullets found in Mumia and Officer Faulkner were balistically confirmed from each others gun.

4. The only Finger prints found on each of the two guns, one from Officer Faulkner and one from Mumia, were the ONLY prints found on the weapons.

Suppressed evidence exonerating Mumia came to light on the Dec. 6 TODAY SHOW. The two guns referred to by Joe Clarik were photographed in the bare hands of a Philadelphia cop at the crime scene by a news reporter on Dec. 9, 1981, minutes after the murder of Faulkner.
