  • I like eating meat but I despise the idea of personally hunting and killing animals. I know that is slightly hypocritical of me but like most meat eaters in America I simply don't think about that aspect of it.

I have seen some of your videos and value your opinion so I am looking for your feedback on this mindset.

  • Hey Arch, what do you think of those who like meat and vegetables?

  • @bbman552

I could care less. My girlfriend and pretty much everyone I know is a meat eater. I don't hold it against them for a second.

  • @TheArchfiend That's nice to know Archy!

  • @TheArchfiend *Couldn't care less.*

  • People call you gay for eating what's meant for you to eat?

  • He's joking, you stupid fucks. It's called trolling.

  • Humans are omnivores. We both eat animals and plants. Humans are healthiest with both food groups. I was kinda going with it at the begining untill you said it was murder. It doesnt make scense to me. Its not cruel at all, its absolutly natural to eat animals even if we dont have to.

  • BACON ROCKS!!!

  • y r u a veggytayreean artch, i loved u

  • @CammehYaBams

I have to try to be more like my leader Onision.

  • @TheArchfiend There wasn't enough screaming in this video.

  • UNSUBBED!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111111111111111111111111111111

  • so you dont eat chicken or fish? or just not red meat. im not a nutritional expert so i was wondering how you get iron and protien without it.

  • @uniquegoat then you are worthless and pathetic...survival of the fittest....i hope that you do get stranded some were...people like you deserve to die...why not just get on with it...the world wont change so dont keep your hopes up...i your one of those that protests you are wasting your time lol

  • @uniquegoat

Anyone can kill an animal. Just step on an ant.

  • @uniquegoat

We have to kill plants to eat them.

  • bet if you were stranded in an iceland with nothing to eat and you saw an elk you would hunt it down and eat it to survive....that there tells you that eating meat is human nature you idiot have some sense

  • @uniquegoat no you idiot i wont eat a human that is wrong...that would be cannibalism...its human nature to eat meat you idiot if we were not supposed to it would be like poison to us...i understand that you care about an animals life...i do too and most of the people that eat meat do to...but it doesnt mean that we are not ganna eat meat..

  • @uniquegoat nice come back tree huger lol...its like telling a tiger that eating a zebra is wrong...you pathetic bitch...if you cant read let me help you see it twice "meat has rich nutrients that our bodys need"...so a dieing cell doesn't feel? all cells feel you retarded shit sack what are all living things made of? cells lol....god all those veggies making you stupid boy lol

  • Aren't plants living organisms? Is it wrong to kill and eat them? They're not a threat to us (most of them).

  • I don't mind if a person is a vegetarian, and I'm considering it. However, after watching a certain video about how bad animals are treated at some farms made me decide to consume less meat.

  • In some parts of the world, eating dog is perfectly acceptable; we Americans just live in a place that shuns the killings of dogs, so your point of why killing cow is okay yet is not so for dogs seems to be just a cultural aspect.

  • @uniquegoat eating meat is healthy dumb shit....meat has rich nutrients that our bodys need....we cant get those from vegetables alone.....id have to recover those needed nutrients through a pill...and just cause we can doesn't mean we should... btw plants are alive too didn't you know? just because it doesn't scream when you rip parts off of it doesn't mean it doesn't feel pain..those are millions of cells in great pain just like a live animal...lol what you gonna do now not eat at all?

  • they have mouse traps that dont hurt the mouse, just saying boi

  • So like get on with a point already. Stop being a fag-hipster, trying to cram big words into your rant, and just fucking get on with it.

  • It is so wasteful of resources, both crops and water. It is also a major cause of deforestation (of all natural land - including the rainforest).

I don't understand why anyone isn't veg. It harms animals, humans, and the planet... just stop.

  • @thestreetsempty hello plants are alive too!!! the only reason you don't bitch about it is cuz it doesn't scream or show pain when it is ripped off the ground or parts of it are cut off....your just as evil....why cant you people understand it is in our nature as animals to eat meat the only thing i am against is mistreating the animals...

  • @nirvana2295 Plants are not sentient. We don't need to eat animals. Humans are animals. Logical, intelligent, empathetic, compassionate animals...unless one is a sociopath.

  • Did you mean to write "Eating Meat is Murder"? Because the title "Meat Is Murder" sounds pretty fucking retarded if you ask me.

  • Meat is the flesh of living animals. Murder is killing living organisms with the intent to kill. Plants are living organisms. If you plant a seed, only to let it grow and be plucked and devoured for your own food, then that is equal to the raising of cattle to be butchered for food. One is animal, one is plant. We are all energy connected infinitely. Obesity is the sin of gluttony and sloth. Food is potential energy, fat people have a lot of potential. Get to it.

  • Oh one more thing, in those same religions it is also believed, on the other hand, that it was not God's original plan for man to eat meat, but to have a plant based diet. He only allowed it after The Flood (Noah story, in case you are unfamiliar with what I mean), when all plant life is believed to have been destroyed and animals were pretty much Man's only option. It's also believed that when all things are made perfect again by God, Man will go back to vegetarianism.

  • As for the reason why some animals are seen as okay to eat (like cows) and other animals (like dogs) are seen as taboo to eat, it may have its origin in the dietary restrictions that originate from Judeo-Christian and Islamic religious tradion. Dogs for example, more particularly when it comes to Judaic dietary laws, are considered unclean and thus unfit for human consumption. All this is my guess. Anyways another interesting video, Archfiend, you got me thinking.

  • To answer your question (at least with regards to Western culture) about people's rationale for eating meat and not thinking that its murder is that in Judeo-Christian and Islamic religion (which have their imprint on our culture) "murder" only refers to the non-self-defense killing of other human beings. Human beings are seen as more significant than animals in such religious systems because humans are believed to be created in the image of God unlike animals.

  • You want to be a vegetarian, be a vegetarian, just don't tell me how I should live my life.

  • @yukoncornileus4

    I didn't. Stop being a moron.

  • @yukoncornileus4 Stop gnawing on drumsticks you disgusting murderer....you deserve E Coli, fuck-wit!

  • @xzuvqz Is there any thing more pathetic than a skinny whiney veggie hippy, probably not.

  • 5 Reasons not to be a vegetarian:

    1- steak

    2- fried chicken

    3-bacon

    4- bbq ribs

    5- burgers

And yes I'm still healthier than my veggie friends. Why? Because twinkies and soda aren't meat.

  • Meat Is Murder.

    And I'm a serial killer.

  • I'm not vegetarian but I liked what you had to say

  • why els are animals on this earth? alot of the animals we eat are too stupid to even know what death or pain is.. there is alot of pointless animals out there. like chickens.. they cant fly.. what is there purpose? FOOD!! for the intelligent life forms that bring meaning to this earth... Life is a test of domination sent from the gods. they programed us with greed and hunger to see if we could either progress or die out. tho i highly respect your inhumanity.

  • Animals are under us, we are given dominion over them. I kill and eat animals because I should. Torturing animals is wrong...eating them is not. Eating animals is natural, it's half of what we were designed for.

  • @Chr0maticAttack You are IGNORANT!! Eating animals is NOT NATURAL. You nd 2 educate urself on the subject b4 posting on it here or anywhere else. If u have an open mind (which I doubt seriously by ur comment), Google Gary Yourofsky & c what he says about eating meat. If, however, u R closed-minded, I leave u w/one of my favorite quotes: "Some minds are like concrete - thoroughly mixed up and permanently set". Oh, and look up "dominion" n the dictionary. No where does it mention murder & eating.

  • @Zsghi What are you texting? You call me ignorant and then respond with horribly hard to understand English. Do you know what you're saying? How is eating animals not natural?!? I'm pretty sure early humans were all wandering nomads who followed the herds before they settled down and began the ages of farming. Take that back, I'm 100% sure. The definition of dominion argument is illogical, that's like saying "look up murder, does it say you shouldn't eat animals?"

  • @Chr0maticAttack thank you

  • @Chr0maticAttack:

Yet, the process that animals endure to be SLAUGHTERED, (killing is NEVER humane), is torture in itself.

If we were designed to consume meat, WHY does it contribute to a cornucopia of detrimental diseases and conditions?

Along with health and animal rights, meat production is one of the main contributors to the pollution of our planet.

Vegetarian and vegan diets, (if done correctly), are PROVEN to be healthier than an omnivorous diet.

  • @DrewAwesome1 Killing isn't HUMANE if it's HUMAN. Have you ever slaughtered an animal or worked in a place where it's done? I have many times, and the killing is generally an electric pulse that instantly shuts down the animals brain...more humane than the human death penalty to me. As to the diseases and such, that's total bull crap. If the meat is raised and cooked properly there are no diseases. What about E-coli etc. with vegetables? As to pollution, I could really explain that one.

  • @Chr0maticAttack :

I was referring to the excess amounts of fat, cholesterol, and protein (yes, excessive protein is detrimental), that meat contains.

Consuming excess amounts of these can lead to numerous diseases.

How is ANY form of killing humane? You are ENDING something's life, REGARDLESS of its species.

Animals possess emotions; they feel pain as we do.

I have extensively researched this subject, therefore, I KNOW that meat production is detrimental to the environment.

  • @Chr0maticAttack:

Search "how to win an argument with a meat eater" to discover a decent link concerning all of the arguments.

And, no, presumptuously asserting that the source is "biased" or "unreliable" is NOT a legitimate excuse to not read it.

    You must prove that.

  • @DrewAwesome1 The very tag line "how to win an argument with a meat eater" is biased by nature...the very definition of it. Might I read it? I've also exstensively researched it, (hands on too) and nothing I read is going to change my already hardened acknowledgement of the facts I know already.

  • OMG I love you!!!

  • What about people that hunt and butcher their own meat like me? My family shoots two elk and a deer every ear and that's our meet for a year. What do you think about that?

    -Honest question.

  • @ForevaSniping

I have ZERO issue with an one who hunts and kills their own food. That is nothing more than nature taking it's course.

  • @TheArchfiend wow thank you for replying and how fast you replied!

  • @TheArchfiend Finally, a rational vegetarian.

  • @TheArchfiend But would you eat that meat?

  • Comment removed

  • @ForevaSniping Great lifestyle man :D

  • @nirvana2295 I love it! :)

  • Arch, PLEASE make a new video, or use new videos to link to this one somehow. This one has less views than your other ones. Use your audience to bring this issue up.

  • Just to say: I´m sorry people feel so offended and feel the need to insult you.

Thank you for pointing out what´s going on and trying to wake people up.

    I´m vegan <3!

  • he may not eat meat but i bet he will hold some in his mouth until the swelling goes down

  • I like my murder medium rare.

  • I was listening to NPR the other day, a recent scientific study shows that it is proven that humans have a space in our brain that craves and tells us to eat meat. Of course too much red meat ect. can be bad. But meat in general, is really good for us he said. Moderation is key with any food. If a juicy piece of ribeye or chicken is sizzeling on the grill, why does is make my mouth water? Oh yea, because it's frickin' delicious. There is more important things to worry about, like humans....

  • the only reason morality even exists is to allow humans to live together in a group in order to survive. every species is out for itself, and if other animals can't compete, it's not the problem of humans.

  • @robokill387 that's a great philosophy, it's fine for us to inflict suffering and torture of other beings on this planet because, well, we can!! Then I guess slavery was okay too, because the people we were enslaving just couldn't compete!

  • YOUR ABSOLUTELY RIGHT. You talk complete logic. Meat is most definitely murder.

  • ok thats you opinon

  • please tell my why i should not eat animals, if they are so tasty? sure they scream, but i think my belly is more important then the critters...

  • honestly u look like u need iron, you look like shit.

  • @rb31 If you're saying you need to eat meat to have a sufficient amount of iron in your diet, you're wrong. There are more plant based sources of iron than there are meat based sources; e.g. beans, lentils, dark greens, tofu, etc. All of which are much healthier and can be produced with less of a negative environmental impact than meat based products.

  • @Ghostshipwreck get some pork on ur fork an stop letting the vegan gods fuk u with a strap on celery stick!!!!!!!

  • @rb31 That's cute.

  • Good video man, nice to hear the truth, as we can see all thoughs that choose to hide behind it.

  • yay killing animales is fun yay muder tasty tasty muder

  • dont like what u say about killing a mouse ....u have to kill something because its near you?!!!

  • @bensimps123 maybe read a book on animals or something, might learn what he means...

  • I am a vegetarian too , and i do it for the reason of animals and its healthy for you . and truthfully if you watch a video on how they treat the animals and how they kill them you would see it the way i do . unless you're just that heartless . but we all have different opinions and view so go do what you want .

  • @Kaylaboo102495 i eat meat, i love eating meat, but yes in my mind i do think of the amount of suffering it brings, and it does make me a little ill too, but i am young and will maybe realise the things you do too! i'm not heartless though! i'll try to figure out an explanation why i eat meat, but it's unknown. it has been built in to our history. sad, but true i know.

  • I've wondered something about vegetarians: Plants are living things, too. No matter what anything eats, it has to kill another living thing. Is vegetarianism born from the fact that plants are not animals like us? I'm just curious.

  • you're a vegetarian? unsubscribed you DEGENERATE

  • @LMTR14

    k, bye.

  • Meat = murder?

    I don't understand...

  • @iscrewy killing animals- into meat for us to feast. Killing= murder

  • Hey man, you make some EXCELLENT points. You've got your head on straight. Very admirable.

  • I like meat, and I like vegetarians (as long as they don't get to pushy :D ) and everyone has the right to there own opinion.

I have never eaten a dog before and I probably never will, simply because I consider them as entertainment not food. but If I had to choose between starving or eating a dog, then I would have to say; bye bye Lassie nomnomnom :)

  • @Tehseanradcliffe I'm not vegetarian for the animals, I'm vegetarian because vegetarians are proven to have a higher average iq and a longer life expectancy than meat eaters, and meat is linked with heart disease, cancer, stroke, impotence, and many other problems.

  • @jacobh849 explain to me the conection between flesh digestion to cancer and impotence. your making shit up. just like peta. and ill bet you got that higher iq nonsense from petas website as well. no. evidence. just psuedoscientific claims.

  • @cole3454657 no i hate peta, i would never listen to them. you can find several studies linking meat to many diseases and health problems, but you actually have to search for them.

  • @jacobh849 i find it complete horse shit, as the vast majority of the public eats meat, and therefore, you would see the majority of the public shooting blanks and dying of cancer, but those are small percentages of the population, so there is a cause and link missing here. obviously not meat as your claims are simply propagandic and unfeasable by scientific methods.

  • @jacobh849 there are certain inuit groups who eat almost nothing but red meat and fat, yet cancer is very rare amoung them.

  • @robokill387 Who knows, maybe that is (apart from physical reasons - you loose weight if you eat according to Atkins´diet) because they get different karma from it, they do it not out of greed like we do but they simply got nothing else to eat where they live (as described in the video) - so they don´t "deserve" to get cancer consequently?

  • you look like the skinny little pencil neck saladbrain shit you are

  • @dawagget

    Thank$ for watching thi$ video

  • @dawagget haha people are pathetic. i am a meat eater, but i do like to enjoy eating meat. but what is your problem? Starting on someone's oppinion. it's rude, childish, and even though you may think so, it's not cool. but when you're offending his looks, that's a whole different story. lets think, he's got the courage to show you his oppinions online, when you haven't even got a video to show for yourself. you're a steriotypical meat eater, and that's why we love you.

  • @dawagget How insightful.

  • @dawagget I can't see you , but you probably look like the fat, fuck-brained, sadistic murderer that you are!!! Looks don't count so you're just a fuck-brained murderer!!!

  • @ICECREAMPAlNTJ0B Nah not really, bro.

  • What if you find a roadkill? If you eat that, that's not a murder. lol Just kidding.

  • Your opinion is just like mine. Plus when we make make meat ( the whole process etc ) worldwide livestock farming generates 18% of the planet's greenhouse gas emissions , all the world's cars, trains, planes and boats account for a 13% . && meat is bad for your health , vegetarians or vegans live longer than meat eaters.

  • Meat tastes great whats the issue here? The animals are weaker then us therefore we can kill and eat them, big deal.

  • you can pursuade someone to stop eating meat... but i doubt anyone will be able to make a vegie eat meat... it just can't be done with words.

so... stop i'll stop trying. obviously everyone cares differently. obviously i'm right (to me) and you're right (to you)

i will say this. animals don't care if they die. their purpose in life is to make more of themselves, WE DO THAT FOR THEM. if we stopped producing pigs/cows/chickens their population would pretty much die off. i'd like them to die off.

  • we don't eat dogs becasue we just don't... they've always been a companion to man... would you go hunting with a cow at your side? i doubt it...

and by the way... people do eat dogs. typically in asia. and why's that? becasue they probably never had dogs as companions so morally they see them differently... don't be ignorant...

    meat=good.

and if i was raised in asia i'd think dog meat was good... not that i don't... i've never been given the oportunity... but still

  • @TehSeanRadcliffe

Would you go hunting with a pug?

  • @TheArchfiend nope... well.. if it was a big pug that actually had some traits that helped hunt then yes... i would never hunt anyway... it's just an example.. but yeah... if a pug was good for hunting then yes... obviously

  • @TehSeanRadcliffe

So if a cow was good for hunting it would not OK to eat?

    Your logic is absurdly idiotic.

  • @TheArchfiend no... but if i'd been raised to believe gthat cows were usefull in ANY way then i wouldn't want them to die... i'm not even talking about food though... i wouldn't really care if all animals were to go extinct... of course that would just en the world. but morally i don't care. and of course we're all morally different... i'm a loving person (i'd like to think) as far as people go... but as for animals i couldn't care less... "absurd logics" aside. fuck animals.

  • @TehSeanRadcliffe You can't be a "loving person" and show no respect for life outside of human beings at the same time. So yes, what TheArchfiend refers to as "absurd logics" is pretty accurate. :]

  • @DancesWithLigers why would i need to feel ANY emotion whatsoever towards other animals? of course dogs and cats and other domesticated ones. becase i can develope a relationship, i can see the "personality" they have. but i'm a pretty cynical person, every animal on earth could die and i wouldn't care (as i've said) obviously every person feels completely differently and changing minds would be almost impossible. but meat eaters don't really care. vegitarians want to change the world...

  • @TehSeanRadcliffe If every animal on earth died the ecosystem would go out of balance and we as humans would die off as well. And like ive said many times, it isn't eating meat that vegetarians have a problem with, it's the fact that we keep them held in slaughter houses with horrible conditions where they're boosted with steroids and hormones, not to mention the types of diseases as well. if you want to eat meat that's fine with me but consider the life that was taken to satisfy your tastebuds.

  • Korea

  • Dogs and cows also do not possess the same intelligence as us.

And as for the "bagel" argument, sure you could eat x10 the amount of bagels, but you still aren't going any sort of protein or Vitamin B12, an argument that all vegetarians I've talked to ignore.

Many vegetarians also ignore the fact that throughout the history of man, we have consumed meat time and time again.

It would also be nice for you to remember the many different features of carnivores that we have.

  • @N00bcrunch3r I don't know what kind of vegetarians you've talked to, but there are many non-meat alternatives with a lot of protein. And yes, throughout history man has always eaten meat. But did people living 500+ years ago use slaughter houses and boost their livestock with steroids and hormones to make them larger? What I'm trying to get across is if you want to eat meat, that's perfectly fine. But the animals deserve a healty and peaceful life before they're slaughtered.

  • @DancesWithLigers

Oh yes, I agree with you! Animals do deserve to be treated better! Cows SHOULD have more room and grass to eat; chickens should be allowed to grow to normal size in 90 days rather than double their normal size in 30 days; and for pigs, well, a family of say 5 pigs just needs a pigpen of maybe 400 sq. ft. and be thrown dinner's leftovers.

The vegetarians I was referring to are ones like the guy in the video, duh!

  • @N00bcrunch3r Haha, I see. It's just hard to tell the difference between the people on here that actually have some intelligence on the topic, or just choose to ramble on about something they know nothing about.

  • 8:55 For one thing, if you served that to Asians, they wouldn't care. But anyways, we don't eat dogs because they serve much better purposes such as tracking down criminals and helping the disabled. Cows serve no such purpose.

Also, as for the "Meat Is Murder" argument you put forth, it fails on so many levels. The term "murder" is correctly used as the killing of another human being, not an animal. Killing an animal would properly be called "hunting" or "slaughter", not murder.

  • this is a great video; thank you for making it!

  • archfiend I love the ninja gaiden reference for your name but we eat meat so we dont become weak and scrawny like you.

  • To those of you who hate or don't understand vegetarianism, youre missing the point. The problem isnt that humans eat meat, and there are very few vegetarians that ridicule people for it. The problem is that the animals sent to slaughterhouses are put in horrific conditions where they are beaten, starved, injected with steroids and exposed to countless forms of disease. And many people out there arent willing to understand that animals are sentient beings who experience pain and emotions.

  • @DancesWithLigers

    Exactly!

  • Vegetarians state WHY we are the way that we are; carnivores DEFEND themselves against everything we have to say. That right there is enough proof that no matter who you are or how you've been raised, a small part of you knows that killing innocent animals that are treated like shit and fed things that they cannot digest is wrong. If you want to eat meat, fine, but there are other ways for the corrupt farms your food comes from to go about making your meal.

  • @ambianony charles manson is 100% sure meat is not murder

  • Don't worry, TheArchFiend, for every animal you don't eat, I will eat three.

  • @krkrkrkrkrkrkrkrkrkx and i will shoot one for fun but not eat it

  • @MattHXIV Fuck yeah. We're already building up an army, and we'll finally win the war against the animals FOR GOOD.

  • if meat is murder. murder is relative.

aside from eating meat that is unhealthy. There is no universal code of morality you can enforce in the dietary lives of people.

  • Humans are not they only beings that kill for food-animals kill all the time to eat-saying meat is murder is a gross over reaction

  • @thoomoo very true. I will say next time to a damn veterinarian say something.

  • Great video. Are you a Vegan or Vegetarian? Do you listen to The Smiths? I ask because they have a song and album titled Meat Is Murder. You should make an updated video on this subject!

  • you don't eat steer. steer are for breeding. just fyi.

  • I eat meat because it's fucking delicious.

  • I ate a chicken and mayo sandwich while watching this video.

  • @darkstar3x16 you sick fuck think of the baby mayonaise waiting for mother too retur home

  • Eating plants is murder too. Crops are raised simply to be killed and eaten and/or utilized.

  • @GoodWillGamersShow

If crops can be murdered than how come I can't go to jail for setting fire to a pile of corn but would get life in prison if I set fire to a pile of dogs?

See how retarded your piss poor argument is?

  • @TheArchfiend No. Just because the law of the land is that way doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things. Since when is morality dictated by the law? The law also used to say we could have slaves.

  • @TheArchfiend What is illegal is a BAD determination of morality. Morality sets law (ideally) not the other way around. Is pot evil? Was alcohol not evil, evil, and then not evil again? By law I could execute 58 puppies with a bullet to the head and it be totally legal. Your argument is beyond piss poor, you obviously fired it off FAR too heated from the OP's (also bad) argument.

I'm not even a vegetarian, and I know that the "proper response" is the argument of pain. Crops don't feel pain.

  • @TheArchfiend plants can't move . But plants are living so it's murder too(they just don't have eyes). I like both so yeah.

  • The over all lack of morality should be enough to steer humans away from murdering another living being.

  • We Homo Sapiens are Omnivores, yes?

That means we are designed to eat both animals and plants and it directly benefits us if we consume both, so being a Vegetarian or a Vegan is both pointless and moronic.

    I'm sorry, but it's true.

If you're willing to reply to a comment with any words other than ''Ur Ghey'', I'm perfectly happy to debate the point with you, if otherwise, then don't even bother replying to this comment.

  • @luke72801

Actually our teeth are WAY more predominant to those of herbivores. Just because we CAN eat meat doesn't mean that is what we were designed to eat it. Hell, a rabbit can eat meat and live. That doesn't mean that's what it was designed to eat over years and years of existence.

  • @TheArchfiend

When did I mention Herbivores? We are designed to eat meat, humans require Vitamin B12 which is completely absent in vegetables, but vegetarians and vegans can get it through eating fungus and bacteria, yum. If you want to be as fit and healthy as possible, it is considered mandatory to cosume meat.

Yes, we can live without meat by using substutes, but our bodies work best if we do consume it, and that is irrefutable fact.

  • @luke72801

    bla bla bla....

  • @TheArchfiend

Awwww, don't spit your dummy out because someone beat you in an argument, you'll win one some day.

  • @TheArchfiend ''Bla Bla Ba''?! Just because someone outfoxes you on the internet and makes you look like a complete and utter moron you decide you spit your dummy out and act like a little butthurt fanboy.

I pity you, I really do.

  • I'm sure there are a few people in Africa that would like to have a word with you about this "no, don't eat that" bullshit.

  • @brent0071

Did you even watch the video? I condone ANY ONE that has to eat animals for survival if that's one of a few options to get nutrition. The same way I support hunters for decreasing the surplus wildlife population.

  • I kind of giggled when you said German Shepard burgers around 8:28 because it made me think of that one time in the chat where I ate a burger made out of dog for a million dollars. :D

  • y kill cows and not dogs??? i got 436 head of cattle and 2 dogs... cows are raised to be killed.. and cows are feed 99% hay and grass if u wana eat hay and grass go for it. cows cant eat that much grain.. and you know i try to help ill eat corn and green beans with my meat...

  • you look sick you could use a nice t-bone.... i would much reather eat a 1 pound peace of meat then 10 pounds of bread any damn day... i like the tast of BLOOD!

  • I eat meat.

    U mad?

  • @Yambii

    Nope.

  • @TheArchfiend

    U happy?

  • being vegan is the best

Used "mostly" in foods you don't eat...but you can't say "exclusively", 'cause you haven't checked. You're still risking killing an innocent animal with your wreckless ways! And many musicians prefer the sound of catgut over synthetic strings even today. AND thanks for pointing out that you also need to check all your sporting equipment too, if you're truly dedicated to "minimising harm". If you live in a climate like mine, you've probably "murdered" plenty of mosquitos/flies etc too

  • @av949

I suspect you don't know what "straw man" means. It's kinda hard to refute 10mins of video with less than 500 characters of text, so I chose a particular part of the video (which was discussing the video's TITLE, kinda important) and refuted just that. Eating meat is not murder, just like him killing mice in his house with traps is not murder. A valid point, I would say, but even if you think it's not a valid point, it's still, by definition, not a straw man argument...

  • @av949

-So, whenever you listen to a song, you first check to make sure that the strings on the instruments in the recording weren't made with catgut (innocent livestock!)? When you eat a red-coloured lolly, you always ensure that the red colour wasn't acheived using cochineal dye (innocent insects!)? Doing without music and most red-coloured food isn't exactly "living like a monk", and these are things you COULD do to make sure you're doing the least amount of harm possible...so do you?

  • @av949

-Umm, stop me if I'm wrong, but isn't this the comment section for THIS video? The video where he says he has no problem setting traps to kill mice in his house, then 20 seconds later explains the video title with the comment "Meat is murder because it kills living organisms that don’t threaten life". That is apparently HIS philosophy, this is HIS video, and I was pointing out how ridiculously hypocritical HIS views are...

  • @av949

-What I was saying is that the overuse of emotionally-charged words, solely for the sake of the emotion the word invokes, without concern for their actual meanings or proper context does nothing to further a cause. Kinda like your use of "barbarously"...

And jeez, even the guy himself says in the vid that calling it murder might be "over the top"

    *sigh* YT character limits...

  • completely agree :D

  • (damn 500 word only posts) but I think saying automatically that Meat is Murder is a tad excessive in this case. There's alot of information and disinformation surrounding the topic of cattle ranching.
