@Latebargirl. No, Pete never married or had children, but he did leave behind his parents, his brother, his sister, his niece, his animals, his extended family, all his friends, fans, and colleagues. A tragedy for so many lives, including his own.
Lovely video. The music is just right! I discoverd Pete about ten years ago, when i saw AS&J and was devastated when i found out about how he died. It broke my 15 yr old heart...
I found some of his poetry online and i just fell in love with "Life" which he wrote when he was 16. Its about how death and life follows each other and that death isnt the end. This might sound silly but that poem helped me, as a fan to deal with his death, 26 yrs after he died.
Pete Duel played the character of Hannibal Heyes brilliantly! Pete Duel had extraordinary intellect and talent; in other words, Pete was a GENIUS like Hannibal Heyes!

Peter was such a vibrant, irreplaceable soul. There will never be another smile as warm and brightly incandescent as his. It breaks my heart that his brilliant, beautiful light couldn't shine backwards enough to chase away his own shadows.
Beautifully done, this one makes me tear up all the time.....

patsaxon he took his own life by the gun although it was never really clear whether he meant to or if it was a tragic accident.
Laura you've done it again..beautiful tribute to a beautiful man who will never be forgotton.
