  • love this song

  • wicked tune

  • in a steelband there is a 'Riddim' section that carries the song being played, and there is someone with a two pieces of iron beating out the timing of the song, this person is responsible for how fast or how slowthe song is being played......The word bazodee could be loosely interpreted as being in a trance like, semi crazy state...

  • I LOVE LOVE this song! Everytime I hear this song no matter where I am I have to get up and dance or dance in my seat if I can't get up. Lol I'm Jamaican but I love soca music just as much as I love reggae. By the way, can one of my Trini sistas or brothas please tell me what Alison means when she says "The iron has me so bazodee"? :-)

  • @Crissislandgirl the iron have me so crazy

  • @springcolley - Oh okay. Thanks for responding SpringColley.

  • @Crissislandgirl that phrase has a double meaning...aka the double entendre...often used in calypso and soca...she's talking about the instuments...how the music has her feeling so nice (bazodee)...probably the steelpan or something...but the "iron" could also mean the male member....so the iron CAN have her real bazodee too...lol

  • @no1strawberricherri - Hi StrawberriCherri. Thanks for responding to my query. You know, I had a feeling the song's title had a double meaning, cuz I know how a lot of our Caribbean artists (both reggae and soca alike) love to sing songs with double meanings...sexual connotations being one of them! LoL Our people are very cheeky! :-) I love the word "bazodee", I will be using it in my conversations from now on. Actually, this song always makes me feel so bazodee when I hear it! LoL
