@MrBinet10 It may be less in the U.S. because car taxes here in Holland are outrageously high. Aside from the standard Value Added Tax of 19%(BTW) we have to pay something called BPM (Vehicle tax? Not sure..) of about 27% (or more). And of course the usual fuel duty tax and road tax (and many other taxes but I can't think of anymore at this moment).

1a. If so, is there a waiting period?

2. How much do they co$t?

3. How does the DoT (Department of Transportation) classify them? Car or Motorcycle? (I'm guessing motorcycle (anything with 3 wheels or less)

Drove one quite a few times a few years ago and it is absolutely amazing ! (And this is a woman talking, who is nowhere near being interested in cars at other times ! :-) ) The car is like a roller coaster - ultimate fun.
