@nuzbleed not only is 6 degrees survivable, but life has made it through FAR worse in the past. Bacterial life has even survived periodic surface melts from large asteroid impacts. We are going to be fine, provided we get rid of 6 billion or so people. Species going extinct is always a bad argument, theyd do that anyways. We just speed it up a bit. Hell, even a 10C rise would be survivable by life. It may take 50000 years to correct itsself, but, geologically speaking, thats nothing at all.
@zpgJiggleBilly The ecosystem has its own equilibrium, ruled by death. Too much beetles kill the forests and then they die because of the lack of food. But since the human estimes his life over any other kind of life, the equilibrium fails
@tobalcainalhambra No it's our equilibrium, we will eventually (just like the beetles) destroy our habitat and then die off. Every animal estimates their life over every other kind. Humans are just as much a part of nature as everything else.
@zpgJiggleBilly If destroy Earth, there won't be anymore life. Our destructive power is way bigger than beetle's. And, if we do realise this, why wouldn't we stop it?
@tobalcainalhambra We do not have the capability to completely destroy every last life form on earth, every animal left to it's own devices will engage in self destructive behavior eventually. Everyone realizes this already, most people don't think they can do anything about it, the ones who try fail and the rest who say otherwise refuse to accept what they know to be true. We could make a change but people are just too damned stupid.
Proof there is no god. I won't be the one to do it but I hope she gets her frontal lobe traumatically removed...if she has one

@nuzbleed As we know it, dip shit, we would still never be able to destroy every last life form. Your argument fails on every level.

This video makes no sense, since when is the eco system failing?

@tobalcainalhambra Beetles will kill more trees that people do, and they don't plant more.
