  • I'm not sure about everyone but the playbook looks like it can stand on it's own next to the big boys...that multi-tasking is awesome for one reason..if you have a xoom and have other apps running then try to play a flash video the performance is not so great.turn off those other apps then try it again then the video plays smoothly. Playbook can run smoothly no matter how many apps were up

  • The problem with the xoom is that it is built to work in landscape where on the ipad it actually looks good on portrait and landscape. Go apple screw android!!

  • @abhijittheappboy Yeah, because you can really play a video game or watch a video while a spreadsheet is running on the screen. That's not useful multitasking at all unless tablets can run two programs visibly side by side. It's just a waste of battery life especially if it's made for business, you can't just have devices die on you.

    Playing a video game while bbming - What, you want me to close and reload a game everytime I want to send a msg?! That would suck. What if I just want a youtube video running to just hear the music while I'm working on my spreadsheet? Or play music while watching a youtube video or playing a video game? Or compare two stats sheets?

    Open your mind :)

    Also, they didn't mention that the playbook supports flash, which gives it an edge. The content will be much nicer

  • @JPSS97 The iPhone can suspend a game if you want to text and you can run Youtube audio while doing anything else. In fact all video or audio apps can be used in the background. I just feel running a full video in the background when you can't even see it is wasteful.

  • anyone who thinks the ipad, 1 or 2 is better than the xoom or playbook is lost...like he said, do your homework. Specifically with the playbook, it is HEAD and SHOULDERS above everyone else, which is an odd place for RIM to be.

  • Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1 is identical to the Xoom, Slimmer, lighter ,less expensive and sexier than both the ipad2 and the xoom,however, IMHO playbook has a much more polished and user friendly UI but application wise i guess sticking to one of the giants (Android or iOS) would be a good idea
