Radiohead has been my favorite band since 5th grade..im about to turn 21 now and they still continue to blow my mind with every new song. I hope that their music will live on whenever they decide to stop making it. They have changed my life and I will forever be greatful.

Do you know how difficult it is to be in the spotlight with four other people for 20 years and have virtually zero public disagreements? That takes an incredible amount of self control, as demonstrated by Thom in this interview. The survival of the band is infinitely more important to these guys than entertaining an interviewer, which is exactly why they're still together making music.

He could have said "The band has our ups and downs, but we move on and keep making music' and left it at that. I dont think the interviewer was that much out of line. Yorke made a solo album so people were probably curious. If he was pressed on whether he was leaving the band "That's not on the table at this point". They're very easy questions.

Anyone who thinks he's being pretentious or hypersensitive doesn't understand what it means to be in a band. Do you know how difficult it is to be in the spotlight with four other people for 20 years and have virtually zero public disagreements? That takes an incredible amount of self control, as demonstrated by Thom in this interview. The survival of the band is infinitely more important to these guys than entertaining an interviewer, which is exactly why they're still together making music.

Watching him dance and performing on stage was fucking cringeworthy and embarassing. I felt even more embarassed that i auctualy payed 50 quid To watch an hours worth of shite. Radiohead is a very unique group of individual, and if you are going to interview any of them it seems like it should be a top priority to at least know a little bit about the band so as not to piss them off and drive them into seclusion... again! Thom is a strange genius and he deserves the interviewers respect. This came accross as an interviewer trying to push Thom's buttons to make for better TV ratings. I think Thom is uncompromisingly genuine and noble for sticking up for his bandmates.
