Dude.. just buy the zx6r.. i just got mine, and im still on my motorbike learners..

Yes the bike is fucking powerful, and amazingly fast (accelerate fast enough and it blurs what you can see lol)

BUT you can control yourself, its forgiving and great to ride. Mine is 09 model so its full of great technology and is much easier to ride then older bikes.

Have fun. A mate of mine bought a cbr600rr as his first bike a few years ago, he's still loving it, and he's still alive ;)
