The Polish have been one of our staunchest and most underrated allies. Where the hell are you getting your facts, son? The USA entered the war in '41, The Germans had already routed the British, French, and Belgians at Dunkirk, and were bombing Britain day and night. And a military that can afford to throw that much men and material into RUSSIA at ONCE doesn't seem drained to me. The Italian's were not an effective force on their own, and almost always lost battles without Germany's help. Don't downplay our participation, we fought and died with you.

Not in WW2, in WW2 Poland was betrayed and left to fight odds that were to large. In the end Poland lost her freedom to Soviets. Poland is free as of 1989, never let her down in the future.
How? In 1940 France was invaded by Germany fom the north and Italy from the south. The French government ended up in favor of total collaborationism. Poland also collaborated, which surprises me. What happened in Polish concentration camps is nothing less than Evil. And it surprised me because the Poles were considered a "sub-species" by the Nazis as well; vermin just 1 step up from Jews; a "slave race".

Churchill ignored Mikołajczyk, prime minister of Polish government in exile and forced us to be taken over by Stalin knowing that Stalin was responsible for the destruction of Warsaw and genocide of the Polish people. Churchill was happy the war over and didn't care what happened as long as it didn't effect England in a bad way.

be fair now, before and after the cold war the polish have been reliable allies and are currently helping us in iraq and afganistahn.
and if you are worried about immigration, then i would advise you to be more worried about the radical muslims then the poles.

Not in WW2, in WW2 Poland was betrayed and left to fight odds that were to large. In the end Poland lost her freedom to Soviets. Poland is free as of 1989, never let her down in the future.

How? In 1940 France was invaded by Germany fom the north and Italy from the south. The French government ended up in favor of total collaborationism. Poland also collaborated, which surprises me. What happened in Polish concentration camps is nothing less than Evil. And it surprised me because the Poles were considered a "sub-species" by the Nazis as well; vermin just 1 step up from Jews; a "slave race".

I was looking for NZ too! ...nothing to do with being white for me...just close friends and allies. Wasn't Poland the first country to fall in WWII? BTW, I'm not saying Poland isn't a friend or ally. I just really expected to see the Kiwi flag pop up. I can't figure out how someone could leave NZ out of a lineup of 5. hmmm...it was a bit of a surprise!

Well Poland also fought through out Europe and Northern Africa by rebuilding its army in France in 1940.

@wiganerrmc Actually Britain and France declared war on Germany two days after Germans illegally invaded Poland without a decleration of war. Britain only cared about themselves, which is why they secretly left us to the Soviets after the war after how much we helped Britain.

Think of what would have happened if we did join him the world would have fallen to us, but we done the right thing and fought for freedom. or that Britain and France had not fulfilled their pledge to aid Poland if it's attacked, they opted to wait and build up forces to defeat Germany rather than help Poland. I wonder what would have happened because Poland put up a strong defense if there was more countries helping maybe you could have won right then.

@mattyreynolds1990 Actually we did many things to help Britain as well as supplying 300,000 soldiers to the west and 77,000 soldiers in the east.
Churchill ignored Mikołajczyk, prime minister of Polish government in exile and forced us to be taken over by Stalin knowing that Stalin was responsible for the destruction of Warsaw and genocide of the Polish people. Churchill was happy the war over and didn't care what happened as long as it didn't effect England in a bad way.

@krakowia88 We were allies. i know from your point of view we probably did a crap job. churchill hated stalin as much as hitler. he wanted roosvelt to do something about stalin but neither chose too because of the huge industry/military power they had come up up with so quickly. Both were evils bastards.

i dont think people relise how much poland helped, germany never had full control of poland at any point in the war, they never gave up.

BTW...I had the chance to see the Ricky Hatton fight with Mayweather on PPV. I heard of Hatton but never really new his story. I like what I saw and the support from the British fans was unbelievable. Hatton also has alot of fans here and I am the newest. Merry Christmas! Peace!!
