you know the funny thing is, its water proof up to 300 metres and if i went down that far id be dead! but at least id be a stylish corpse should anyone find me lol
@semuelt any true watch enthusiast will tell you a real watch is a self sustaining, modern marvel, automatic. Not to mention automatics hold their value 100x better than quartz will over time. The only benefit quartzs offer over automatic is price and arguably accuracy if you want to split hair over seconds. Personally, I like the intimate relationship you have with an automatic watch, it requires care to stay accurate and if done correctly will last a lifetime.
You can't beat a high-quality quartz like the 1538 calibre razor accuracy for a grab-and-go wear, or for a vigorous lifestyle that an automatic can't handle.

Great. I always would take the quartz over the auto for a daily watch. The quartz has a lot mor e advantage over the auto as a daily watch.

@atheos93 when you can afford a "beater" omega I guess this is the one :)

@CheeseyChung My dad gave me this watch except its mechanical and with a chronograph. It's an amazing watch.

Excellent watch... But is overpriced for a quartz and has become very common these days.
