You do good reviews, I watch a lot of them on Youtube. Like how you don't spend to much time talking without showing stuff. Going into detail is what I like as well. Thanks for spending time doing this review.
i have had this phone for about ...oh 2 weeks or so give or take a few days and i love it. its me first true smart phone before getting this i would have a 4th gen ipod touch and a german samsung "star" but now on most days i go about with just this batery is a bit short for my taste but it is much more powerfull than any other phone ive had before im glad i went with this over some of the alternatives i looked at once again i must say i love this phone
@rukisan159 If you can get the AT&T version and unlock, it will work in Europe and certain parts of Asia as it has 850/1900/2100MHz on HSPA+/UMTS. T-Mobile in the US uses 1700/2100MHz for the HSPA+ network, and 1700MHz is hard to find in other parts of the world.
@MobileTechReview hey lisa should i get the samsung galaxy s ii or wait for the samsung galaxy blaze 4g on t-mobile which is the phone to basically match the samsung galaxy nexus
@rukisan159 BECAUSE THIS PHONE IS AN EXCLUSIVE MADE FOR TMOBILE PRODUCT, NO. TMOBILE PUT SIMS CARDS IN ALL OF THERE PHONES.. MABE YOU COULD TRY BUYING THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S2 EPIC TOUCH FROM SPRINT. THERE DONT DO SIMS CARDS
@isoballer12345 on the keyboard when u type a message there should be a little button next to the space button which is settings, then go to XT9 advanced settings and spell correction should be there :)
Do you know how fast this phone is after you use all your 4g speed data in your data plan. Im getting the 200mb plan and i wanna know how fast it is when its not using 4g speed
@tellz117 whatever the price is with a contract, is usually how much the phone would cost if you are indeed eligible for an upgrade on your current contract. hope that helps :D
question, can i get this phone no contract and can i do the new 30$plan they have for unlimited text and web with 100 min of talk? being poor i cant comit to any contracts lol
@flubberdoggy I'm looking at doing EXACTLY what you're trying to do!!!!!! I'm thinking of buying the T-Mobile version from Amazon for $600 and then getting that $30 plan. In one year it will save you $1000 instead of getting the 2 year contract. I've asked T-mobile and they say you can, just go to a store to set it up.
Wrong conclusion. My age is irrelevant. Too techy referred to the presentation and not the phone. Many terms were undefined- the speed of the presentation was too fast to fully grasp the essence of the phone. Yours was a stupid comment, since Jobs and Gates are older than me and both are technically superior to you. Maybe you are too young to be logical, demonstrate manners and respond without trying to get negative attention. Didn't know there was an age limit in owning smart phones. Sheesh.
I've owned this thing this around Thanksgiving, and I must say this phone dished out all tasks that I wanted it to do :) if you are hesitant, fear not as it is very very good :D
I'm getting this phone next week. What u need to know is to go with the 2gb of data or the 5. I'm not a heavy phone user but will want to watch YouTube , do facebook and stuff. Suggestions?
I just don't understand why we Samsung s vibrant users can't seem to have the latest os.... The sII looks amazing, and the os so much better than 2.1 one 2.2! I just understand how the iPhone 3GS gets ios5 while vibrant users can't get 2.35! Apple iPhone here I go sighs
an u help me pick if i should get the at&t galaxy s2 or the skyrocket cuz am trying to pick a good phone for my birthday cuz i have the atrix and it keep on lagging and freezing
I have a huge question involving this phone and the new S2 variant for AT&T "Skyrocket" because the specs look VERY similar. Could you guys put out a review of the Skyrocket when it releases?
To all pol complaining about the damn plastic. The phone is already huge as is. Do u really want Samsung to throw metal on a big ass phone that more then likely, if ur smart, you're going to put a case on anyways? Im buying my phone for it's capabilities and its lightness. If I wanted a cool looking piece of met I'd go but a gun. I have seen a lot of "beautiful" HTCs destroyed. I'd tame plastic anyday. Especially when it comes to overheating and weight w/ case.

I'm getting this phone but sprint i have tmobile and its annoying sprint is so much better.
@theseekr5 ... I prefer the Galaxy SII. The Os is richer, more custumization and awesome screen for mobile browsing. However, I'm having battery life issues, but don't consider myself a regular user so may not be an issue for you.
Lisa? After a few days with it, how's battery life. I only trust your non biased review. Bought it without a contract and getting about 7hrs with moderate to heavy usage. Very disappointed.
@theseekr5 what do you want Galaxy S2's customization(endless btw) or do you just want to go with the clean boring same old childish iphone? Btw Galaxy S2 can do the same thing as siri Siri is nothing new.
why do they have to make so many damn phones when they switch mobile companies that is the number 1 issue i have with android devices so many damn devices that apps dont work as well with other devices and some apps arent even available with some devices. that is why i stay with Apple one good device is better that 100 devices that CANT work together
One piece of information is missing from all of the reviews I've watched so far-- Does the Samsung Galaxy S II for Tmobile have an LED notification for incoming messages/missed calls?
Samsung went with the snapdragon CPU because its capable of getting higher download speeds. 40 something mbits over the 20 something exynos gets you. Which I don't understand because NO ONE will ever hit anything close to those speeds.
I couldn't decide between Amaze & GS2. Phonedog's review of the Amaze's 1080p recording had very poor sound, just like my (former) Sensation. That tipped the scales in favor of GS2

Since i carry iPad 2 around all the time i'll just tether with Galaxy S2 until iPhone decides to bring out the bands for tmobile for us to use 3g on their phones
