@PCman54 Yes, this is a First-Person SHOOTER and this game is about fighting mainly, unlike original F.E.A.R which was supposed to be a Horror in first place. Though the atmosphere is still pretty much the same and awesome. :)

...This is the only FEAR game I could play all the way through. My favorite scene is the one with the generator malfunction (in the very beginning, where your flashlight dies mysteriously just before). I also laughed when Chen's amr comes off during the first scene with a Scarecrow in it.

the focus for this expansion kinda was the story...it dives into part of th past of Paxel and Alma, who has surprsingly little screen time in the game. You see her maybe 4 times. This expansion pack is more action-oriented, with some horror, unlike the other F.E.A.R.s. You actually get to talk to Paxel on numerous occasions too.

Although the most reviews claimed that it doesn't good as it should, In fact, they just expected for something new such as better graphic, improvement AI, story cool, etc., without focusing on how fun it is.

Original fear released on 2005, this one released on 2007, so they just compare to the other games about something new. And this expansion give the same feel to 2005. That is.

fear 2 it too easy even when play on hard level to last boss still compleat game in 1 day i think in fear perseus mandate have the hardest enmy like nightcrawler first they very fast and can kill you with one head shot and jump in air while trow the grenage when you run or hide and they have much hp even shoot shotgun in they head still can't kill them in one single bullet some part 5 of them come to you in one time it like you fight with hardest bot of counter strike

Project Origin is the Official sequal to FEAR. Extraction Point and Percius Mandate are expansion packs. Mind you I reccomend that you play them in the following order:

FEAR

FEAR Extraction Point

FEAR Percius Mandate

Project Origin.

Ok now I'm sure you're wondering why Project Origin isn't called FEAR 2? Well, Monolith (The creators of the game) left Vivendi for Warner Bro Games...Vivendi had the legal rights for the name F.E.A.R. so....yea. If you have any more questions PM me.

Anyway this game seems to be made by timegate studios and Not monolith which are the creators of F.E.A.R - which means in my opinion that this game is not part of the fear story and is just a cheap spin off and a quick money grab on the part of the publisher ( Sierra ). I am however downloading the Demo and will see for myself :P

But the slow mo for this game makes no sense as the reson for the slow mo ability was related with you being a supped up clone with your only physic inheritance from your mother being the slow mo which could be seen as fast reflexes but is ability to see a few seconds into the future.
