@BlastBlooxer Errmm...it's Leone, not Leonardo...and Leo didn't kill Joe :/ Leo spared Vito and prevented the Chinks and the Vinci to kill him, that if he was able to get rid of Carlo who was going against the commission, but Joe wasn't part of that deal, the Tongs and the Vinci couldn't allow themselves to forgive both of the responsables for the masacres that took place in both chinatown and the construction site, hence why Joe couldn't be part of the deal.
If only Vito didn't arrive to Leo's before Henry did. Or if Henry really did kill Leo instead of making a deal with him... maybe just maybe, Vito, Henry (Well i don't know cause he was a rat), and Joe could have made thier own mafia.

I think they should do another Joe's adventure. We escape from the car with the gun we put our pocket. Then we think that Vito knew we r going to get killed. Then we prepare to kill Vito but then (after few scars) Vito explains what really happened and then we kil Leo together. And build our own mafia and that's where the dlc ends and Mafia lll begins. If i got 10 thumbs up ima post this to 2K's forum.

If you have seen mafia 1 ending or if you heard "Mafia 2 soundtrack alternate end" You will know that they could have done such more epic and sad ending
but it was in the middle of the game, not in the end

SPOILERS ALERT. The ending alluded to Vito's future without happiness. Joe was the only friend he had who gave up a great opportunity to save his friend, but Vito could not return the favor, since he was dead meat, and Leo Golante was his saving grace. Joe was the only one who actually knew Vito, and was a true friend. Without him, Vito has nothing. He lost his mother who worried about him, and his sister who was scared of him. Really tragic ending.
@TheAstonMartian yeah i seen a lot of people saying the ending sucks but im pretty sure im not the only one who fell in love with the game, everyone else would turn on vito but him and joe had each others back no matter what but the story was kind of confusing because of all the lies

His childhood friend was good, but so was Leo Golante. He was trapped, and had no choice but to let go because of their mistakes. Vito got a second chance, but it will only take him deeper into the trap. At least Tommy had a way out, and redemption.
