Nah they have a new team the original team I beleive had it's last run in 2002 during the Salt Lake Games. The Jamaicans won a gold medal in the 2000 world Championships though. Devon Harris, Dudely Stokes, Michael White, and Samuel Clayton are the original sledders. the Current team is Marvin Dixon, Khanukka Wallace, Joel Alexander, and Suzie Kendall. The current team failed to qualify in 2006, and 2010. but Qualified in 92,94,98, and 2002.

gotta love them Rastafarians, I grew up with a Jamaican kid in elementary through high school, I taught him about our aboriginal culture and he told me about his Jamaican culture, I love Jamaicans and Africans! My skin color may not be very dark but theoretically I am more black than all those wiggers who listen to hip hop and wear dew rags. I actually experienced their culture and my black friends have excepted me as their family and the other way around.

Jamaica my not have a lot of money like all these other countries but we have people who are rich in charicter, dertermination and love which is what this world needs. I am not Jamaican but appreciate when such a small nation can put forward such vibrant culture and talents. It is unfair for large rich nations to flaunt power over small nations. Europeans brought slavery to the Caribbean. People coming out of that were disadvantaged and did not have the wealth and education or earn the same wages. Even today people in the Caribbean are paid much less for doing equivalent work than first nation countries.

jamaica still has a national bobsled program which is actually quite strong out of the warm climate countries. couldnt afford to send a sled to torino olympics because their biggest sponsor (redstripe beer) pulled their sponsorship, so their best brakeman defected to canada and won us some medals. lol
