  • SEE CHEAT VIDEO IN RECORD SETTER 750 BPM? FAKE NEW RECORD WORD of TIAGO DELLA VEGA

  • RECORDSETTER DREW 750 BPM VIDEO, OF TIAGO DELLA VEGA !

RecordSetter We've denied the attempt you reference after seeing all the evidence. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

JOHN TAYLOR IS CONSIDERED CURRENT RECORD!

  • i had to play this last week, and all the masturbation in the world did not help.

  • Wow. He actually has some technicality. But he is still a shit musician. And less technical than just about every guitarist ever.

  • His picking is certainly so fast.

    But sound is f**k'n dirty.

    He is just faker.

  • @karints1124 When you play that fast you're going to get muddy sound you dumbshit.

  • Less is more! Ha!

  • why play that fast, other than jus knowing you have the record there isnt really a point..... that didnt sounnd cool or entertaining at all

  • lol put it to 2x speed

  • lmao at the death growling, rejoicing fan at the end! Nothing shows your approval like destroying your vocal cords!

  • im pretty sure joe swanson was there at 5:55.

  • 5:55 Piccolo from Dragon Ball Z is screaming in the background.

  • it's altered, sloppy, and inaccurate. Not to mention there's a track playing behind it to try and hide the mistakes.

  • @Luminaire3 ne seri...

  • @Luminaire3 damn right, this sucks. I don't care if the guy can make himself orgasm in 0.002 seconds, can he ACTUALLY COMPOSE????

  • He's not playing 16th notes. those are 8th notes

  • MIDI report or it didn't happen

  • Mind. Blown.

  • 5:55 YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • OH SHI--

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!!!

  • If you don't understand why this is important, you never will.

  • WOW

  • Any I'd like to see any of you play anywhere near as fast and sound clean.

  • i still think that older fastest record was a lot better. This guys notes all sound so sloppy and barely audible at all

  • Sounds like "Flight of cloud of flies".

  • 5:56 YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

  • it's not 600 bpm.. anyone knows music??

  • @deeptequila No it is not 600bpm. It is very fast, but the backing metronome makes it sound that way.

I will not judge his musical abillity from this video though because this is an intended to be fast video but is just noise rather than music.

For me slow or fast ,Music comes when one adds a certain character to every single note he plays.

  • @TheXPrisoner the backing metronome measures whole notes (: not fourths :b I do the same thing with my drum loops when I'm doing this kind of excersises, it helps a lot (:

  • @mrguythefawkes I know that. Thank you for your input again :) i thing i meant for this video was in my personal opinion i do not think he is playing at around 64th note/lower or higher.

  • i was playing guitar faster than this guy then i woke up

  • He once fingered a woman. She died.

  • @PozdrawiamMame Faker

  • kill yourself :))

  • This is stupid.

  • ale on zapierdala po gryfie, ale nie wiem czy jest najszybszy... a Paganini?

  • WHY?

  • Honestly it sounds like fucking CRAP! If you listen to the 600 PM attemot, you can't even tell it's music anymore... It doesn't sound clean either BTW

  • @BlackmetalSM The point was to set a record as world's fastest guitarist, not sound good

  • @BlackmetalSM and that comes from a guy who listens to black metal .. obvious troll ..

  • Not entirely real, he's using too many hammerons and pull offs, while the other guy (DellaVega) is picking each note. You can tell between the 340bpm and 450bpm his strum patterns are the same.

  • 124 Fags got their epilleptic siezures watching this

  • do they give you a free shot of meth right into the heart before you play? or like a few power drinks?

  • Awesome! People that are guitarists and hating on this crack me up. Regardless of how "good" you are, its an instrument and meant to played in any way the player wants. People used to hate on Mozart too.

  • I think that if he wasn't playing on an amplified instrument, it would sound much better and clearer.

  • Wired brought me here.

  • Anybody else hear that one guy BOOING?

    retard.

  • To był Hadeeeees \m/ :D

  • 600 BMP thats insane.... But awsome :P

  • Well, it's certainly not musical, and to be honest it's not tha difficult either. It's mostly just repitition of the same phrase at different postitions on the fretboard. Gimme some nice phrasing any day, this stuff sucks ass big time and ain't nothin' to do with music. No feeling, no change in rhythm even, pointless legato, no dynamics, no direction, nothin'! A waste of a set of strings! BTW, it that some norse god at the end there? :)

  • @GuitarPlayerGeo I agree to an extent. This is the absolute worst I have ever heard this piece sound, hands down.

  • Comment removed

  • The vid is just edited to go faster and faster as time ticks. :P

  • Extreme fap fap fap.

  • Show me a notarised time/frequency domain analysis of a recording or at least an oscilloscope readout of a magnetized pick on a tape head, showing 700 beat per minute divided by 60 seconds per minute times the inverse of Bumblebee's 16th notes divided by 2 alternate strums per cycle, resulting in a figure measured in Hertz in the triple digits. THEN I believe the figures. Until then all I can do is say: Nice shred. No really. Nice shred.

  • ELE NO GUINESS AQUI SEU BOÇAL:

vai no site do guiness e cola essa porra: /records-3000/fastest-guitar-player/

esse povo soh abre a boca pra falar merda...montagem eh meu piru !!!

  • ai meu Deus

  • looks like speed-up, lol

  • Guinness really thought this was legit? This guy cant even play! go watch his other videos, they show not even a hint of a guy who could ever reach that speed. This is TOTALLY faked. Guinness truly is a joke if they really took this as a real attempt.

  • @RobBurtonGuitar Out of curiosity, where exactly are all his other videos?

  • @GuitarPlayerGeo just type in "dr hot licks" thats the name of his channel. And if you leave any critisizm at all, he blocks you, lol

  • fucking garbage

  • no me gusta

  • Chuck Norris can play this without using hands

  • That guy in the background: FUCK YEAHAAHHGSGGGGGANDLXLXLLDLPSPEPOEYWYAYZBKZL!

  • Musica do jogo The Immortal do NES :D:D

Music from the game Immortal from NES LOL

  • Why are people commenting more than once?

  • but can he play smoke on the water?

  • as bad as the fastest punch of the world ¬¬"

  • @left45dead

    No. I'd say it's guitar.

  • chuck norris can play this with 1500 bps with only one hand!

  • 5:25 + video player speed at 2x = pure awesomeness

  • This sounds ugly. Just a clusterfuck of distorted notes, played for sport to a metronome.

    You must really hate Rimsky-Korsakov.

  • My friend has bet that record

    700bmp

  • Insane! Looks like its fast forwarded!

  • it doesn't sound like music anymore at the end :D

  • The New Chuck Norris?

  • This actually made me feel sick.

  • His dick would have been burned if he had masturbated.

  • which song is he playing?

  • @matt305rocks flight of the bumblebee

  • @matt305rocks Flight of the bumblebee

  • @matt305rocks Flight of the bumblebee

  • very fast

  • " WooW amzing "

  • Why do his movements look unnatural for 380bpm and on?

  • @omegagodly looks like a fake to me honestly, especialy people walking in the background. If this was actually taking place at a GC EVERYONE WOULD BE WATCHING. That's my opinion.

  • 5:22 600BPM

  • Found this via a GW article; spend an hour being amazed by other insanely fast guitarists: guitarworld com / 50-fastest-guitarists-all-time

  • Speed of Jesus.

  • 1:45 I'm waiting for that guys jaw to drop off!!!

  • Make music my friends....

  • @fabiokufa

Music ? What is this already ?

  • Level : Asian

  • 早送りしてるみたい…

    早送りしてないって証拠に時計があるのか

    凄すぎ

  • well... damn...

  • I do faster .. [notreally

  • omg...hix hixx...tempo 650 bpm...

  • Thiago Della Vega beat with 750bpm!!

  • yyyyyyyyaaaaaaaaahhhhhooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwroooootttssss bloody roooooootssssssssss!!!!!!!! (rsrrs)

  • that's one of john petrucci's beginner level picking practices

  • @BrunoSRO JP can't play full speed because everyone would die. ;D

  • wow, me queda claro que a 600bpm, un segundo es una eternidad

  • It's amazing!

But I Don't love playing guitar as fast as this.....

  • mean while in japan

  • what a total waste of time mastering this speed

  • WAY too much distortion, he shouldve done this on a clean setting

  • @HiImJerry8 If he decreased the drive, he wouldn't play this "cleany" at the tempo of 250 :))

But as much distortion, he can play it even tempo 700 and people shout loud " i love you" without hearing "what is he playing ???"

    However, he's really fast.

  • feels like im watching this in fast foward.

  • Not musical but still awesome

  • What is the point of being able to play that fast

When you play that fast everything just sounds like noise

Im not saying he is a bad guitarist or anything, I think he is amazing but its not very useful to be able to play at that speed, especially when you have the effects so high that you cant make out a single note

    Its totally pointless

  • @22gilley22 almost everything on genuis world record is pointless

  • @22gilley22 look where he is and look where you are. that's the point ;)

  • @NotHere2PlzU I dont care if he can play faster than me

In not about how fast you can play

I just think its stupid to want to be able to play that fast

  • Didn't even sound like it at 600bpm lol

  • WHAT THE FUCK.

  • I'd like to know what else can he do with those fingers...

  • Why is he stroking the guitar.

Also, this guy is the fastest?...

    Don't make me laugh...

And besides, I can be the fastest if I play crappy too...

I'd scream like that dude at the end too if I heard this crap...

    "I WANT MY TIME BAAACK!"

  • @DamageIncM U JELLY?

  • /watch?v=frUyc8qYa-4

    He did 750 BPM

    Della Vega still have it.

  • @Handfinished The fuck you talking about? Tiago hasn't even played 500BPM.

  • @Handfinished I take back my words about vega not playing 500 bpm, but his 750 attempt is FAKE as shit, the backingtrack is WAY too loud, and John Taylor played it about 20 times cleaner.

  • @brando18guitarplyr

Is not fake, even Guiness Book was there. The record is going to be written on the 2013 edition because they've already printed the 2012 edition, saying that John Taylor was the fastest guitarist.

  • @Handfinished Dude, have you checked that vid? It's WAAAAAAAAAAY too clean to be live-audio and first he had 360bpm or 380, it's simply not possible that he achieved twice the speed in 3 years.

  • would be good if they played it without effects. just clean guitar... no distortion

  • Dellavega is faster and cleaner.

  • hhahahaa 5:56

  • bien doctorhotlicks

  • so virtuoso speed on the guitar is 1000 notes a minute. That's straight sixteenth notes at 250 bpm, or sixteenth note triplets at around 167 bpm.

If he's playing sixteenth notes at 600 bpm, that's 2,400 notes per minute. So basically he's beyond virtuoso as far as technical ability is concerned. by a lot.

  • 104 inutils n gostam

  • animal

  • the guitar sound is so incredibly shitty.

  • dude is hella fast !no doubt. But"sting of bumble ? "it is boring!

  • @ardagun75 It's Flight of the Bumblebee and that is always the song used in speed records for guitar.

  • it's looks like benny hills...

  • If I had hands like that, I'd never leave the room.

  • why are you playing petrucci's cover at 50% speed?

  • las personas q tocan arriba de 400 bpm deberían ser estudiadas por la ciencia

  • 40 notes per second? This must be fake.

  • its funny how it looks all sped up at 600bpm but its not :)

  • Fuckin mental

  • so fake rofl

  • @DihColorado no its not look at the clock

  • he's not HUMAN.

  • BO-RING !

  • this isnt palm muted or sped up its a lil sloppy bt wat else do u expect frm playing so fast u can eaisily tell the ppl in da bck r walkin a pretty normal if it was palm mutted it would have sounded different dan dis and the strings wouldnt have ringed lyk they did

  • Comment removed

  • fake

  • I'll tell you all what's really impressive: that this is a joke and the video is clearly fake, but people think the guy is really playing it that fast. It's IMPOSSIBLE to play anything even near that fast, and if it were possible it would sound indiscernible just like it sounds in the video. It's a great joke on speed freaks though, and it shows you how ridiculous you get when all you can think about is being fast.

  • this guy has no concept of tone at all. it's fast as hell but it sounds like shit.

  • @alpha1shadow It's obviously faked, man! Come on!

  • @TinManSixtySix it actually doesn't sound that faked to me. it sounds sloppy as hell. i mean if you're gonna fake it then fake it so that it sounds perfect. fast playing is a great tool to use when the music calls for it, but like this it's just crap. no tone, messy, it's horrendous. why fake it to make it sound bad? you get me?

  • @alpha1shadow Think about it: how could anything sound accurate at that speed? It's simply impossible. Even if a robot played the passage, the human ear would hear but a swirling buzz! All is there to make you think it's real -- the big clock, the people in the back, the guy's position in which only his head and arms move (nevertheless you can see it's sped up), even the crappy guitar and tone. It was acted out. Now I don't criticize people for playing fast, but for focusing on speed "only".

  • @TinManSixtySix well if it wouldn't have been palm muted, it would've been easy to tell that it was real, because it's impossible to mute notes without palm muting at that speed. i agree with you, focusing on speed only is what's wrong with guitar players today.

  • @alpha1shadow I'm sorry, man... it has nothing to do with palm muting. Anyway, I've made my point! Focusing solely on speed is something for speed freaks not real musicians. They all end up sounding alike, btw, and they all suck, because the little nuances that make music interesting are left out. As a matter of fact they don't even know where it's at. Alright, I'm outta here, man! Cheers!
