I'm a big fan but I'm kinda disappointed about this album, to me it just misses their "magic"

The new cd is awesome. I'm not really into all the "religious stuff", but I really like their music. I've been a fan of theirs for a while now.They are also pretty awesome live.

I preordered this. With the VIP pass, shirt, and everything else. I'm a little disappointed. Monster, Hero, and Awake and Alive seem to be the best songs on the album. What happened to everything else?! I sounds like Skillet has found their softer side and I'm not the biggest fan. Still to say, I'm probably going to fall in love with it once I hear the full songs, but just with the previews I am not impressed. Cheers to Skillet for Monster though, that song is epic.

Ok, I never said I don't like Skillet. I do, I love them. But, you know, most people love the harder side. I'm just stating my opinion, and I think most people will agree with me that harder Skillet > softer Skillet. Softer Skillet was pretty amazing (The Older I Get is still an amazing song), but the singles released are very... misleading.

And yes, Skillet ROCKS. Gonna go see them in concert in... two weeks ;)

Yeah i just recently started to listen to "the Older I get again" and realised how awesome it was. :)

BtW the softer songs for the most part are amazing ( I heard the full album today) "Lucy "and "Never Surrender" are some of the best ballads Skillet has ever done. Oh and "It's not me It's you" and "Sometimes" are both very heavy.
