I don't know why peiople think this is somehow anti-religion or anti-Jesus. It's simply pointing out the shady televangelists out there who promise you an audience with god, miracles and a trip to heaven if you just give them your money. Faith is what counts. The bible contains truth. I love this song, because there are some that use the name of the Lord to obtain riches, which is wrong.
This song is 100% correct. Religion has been used to enrich and empower certain industries and persons. I truely believe in Christ and alot of what was written in the scriptures but definately not all of it. The scriptures have been shapen and manipulated by the hiearchy for as long as there Has been religion. That stands to reason why Christ was Crucified by the Jewish Hiearchy. I wonder what the Church would do if Christ walked amungst us now? Who knows maybe they would stick him in bellevue !

As a christian I think it's the absolute worst in the history of christianity what these evangelist have done to the gospel of Jesus Christ and you can bet Jesus will deal with everyone of them, and I sure wouldn't want to be around when he does, it won't be a pretty site, peace!
