  • Probably one of the many K-Tel albums I had back then - LOVED the trip back to my younger years and to hear great music again. Thank you.

  • Fake

  • I thought I was the only one who still has this album!

  • It's hits of the time, yes, but not 1969, please drop by my site to listen to 1969 which is one of the best year for real cool music in the last 40 years..

  • remember listening to this in rm barracks in deal 69 great days

  • What? No Bobby Sherman? lol

  • luv the sound of the needle, & when we had to put coins 2 weight it down the arm so it would play better, now thats ole school

  • i have the same at home.cool.

  • ...and "What Kind of Fool" by Bill Deal and The Rhondels.

  • Cool. I had this album when I was a kid, and I've been tracking down all the songs on it. I've got "Together" by The Illusion posted on my channel.

  • @coolbluelights, I see your comment on having the album 24 electrifying hits on your computer. Yes could you send it to me, wpcole@nf.sympatico.ca we are looking for it so we can give it to someone as a CD.

  • MMM, most of these songs did not make the to Top 100 songs of 1969 and some are really the B-side of the actual hits. Some are not even 1969. But indeed all are good songs. Nice collection.

  • You did a good job with the audio! Usually these albums were microgrooved to death to get an hours worth on them and thus the fidelity suffered.

  • Love K-Tel's format of "jam some current stuff (late 1969 in this case) and fill the rest with anything we have handy spread over who cares how many months and years." At least they're consistent at being inconsistent lol.

  • K-TEL albums sure took a beating, but the sound is still ok.

  • I remember drawing an 'S' with a black felt pen in the same graphic style right in front of the word 'hits' on the front cover.

  • I have this album plus other "Syndicate" and K-tel. Great sample of this album...Thanks!

  • Sounds better like this,lol.Thanks!

  • Interesting compilation. "Groovy Grubworm - Harlow Wilcox" sounds like something you would jam to.

  • That Jay And The American's hit is on my Wax Museum lp.

  • KTels were cool back in tha day..I still have a couple myself :)

  • @rare12inchsingles Yea they're pretty awesome. Sure the sound quality isn't that great most of the time, and they tend to edit some of the songs, but I've discovered so many great, obscure bands from these K-TEL albums.

  • I have this album too along with two other Syndicate Product V/A comps! (if you don't know what "V/A comps" means, it's an abbreviation for "Various Artists compilations)

  • wow what an awesome album from an awesome era of music!!!! I really wanna get this album now!

  • @coolbluelights I actually tried uploading the whole thing, but it got muted. I do have the entire LP on my computer though, if you want me to send it to you
