  • I never wanted to be a famous anything... I just dreamed of getting a good job in something related to my career...these days even that seems to be too much

  • Suppose the fluoride-head king lovers are Intoxicated on fluoride Is the reason they worship the Illuminati government but The Holy Bible says God will send them strong delusion because of their Un-Belief. the fluoride-head king lovers put on the biggest Jesus religious ritual circus In the world but the more You lean about them It become obvious Its Not Jesus what they believe In.

  • The more Spiritual You are the more You will hate lies, I went to a ghost town school that was full of fluoride-head king lovers & I quit at 16 because they were so hateful. At 17 I became more Spiritual & knew I wanted to be A Heavy metal Christian Musician of course None of My relatives supported Me, Around 1998 Jesus told Me to take orders from No one & Taught Me some Foundation. So now these fluoride-head king lovers are Not just doing It against Me but also The Holy Ghost

  • The more You learn about fluoride-head king lovers the more You will hate them & hopefully some day You will send Micheal Myers after them which Is what God Is waiting for You to do. What You should do first Is lean to live off the land which You have A God given Right to do, then do what makes You happy. the fluoride-head king lovers are the children of satan the devil & they want You to be a slave to their Illuminati government & If You do Not have a ged at 18 No second chance Its their shit.

  • You should read "The Science of Getting Rich" by Wallace Wattles. You can get a free pdf of it. Talks about what you are saying here in this video.

  • What you're talking about is different than saying do what you feel, invent, sing, etc And the reality of whether or not you can make it to stardom. that market is heavily controlled. if you dont sign certain contracts, or sacrifice beliefs, they dont let you in. I know from first hand experience. If you like music, play for that, not fame or money. Because the fun is gone when it becomes a chore & against your purpose.

  • Is the Monroe backdrop supposed to be irony?

She was the first truly manufactured (and probably MK'd) celeb and the template for every subsequent manufactured pop/ movie star used by the industry to destroy art and culture and create the shallow, wannabe, narcissistic, ego, material bullshit aspirations of most young people.

The alternative music scene has been just as corrupted, from hippie to rock, punk, grunge, goth, emo - it all stems from the same social engineering.

  • Stay up man:]

  • I should quit my job as a plumber and become a guitarist or a boxer...

  • Music is a very powerful and amazing thing. Most musicians today dont have an original thought or idea. It sounds like you ve got things going on and at 30 thats great. One thing Ive learned about the business of music is that it is fleeting, the fame, the money, the friends. Im 38 now and I have a wife and son and I never really achieved the level of success I had built in my mind and my heart but I still compose music and collaborate with friends and family. I changed and thats ok. Ive grown.

  • I never even heard of your band, but I already love you.

  • this is a tadpole who made it into a toad and tells all the other millions of tadpoles perishing in the pond that there is nothing wrong with the system that allowed him to become a toad.

  • Bro, it seems to me you want to be a rock star and will do whatever it takes, perhaps this is where the problem lies. Why dont you focus on the music, never mind about selling out stadiums and the glory and groupies etc. If your music is something that comes from a real part of you, an honest part of you where you truly feel inspired by your sound/art then nothing else matters. It kinda sounds like the cart (rockstar dreams, fame, sex) leading the horse (genuine art), get your priorities right.

  • Aw I'd never say that. Everyone should do whatever they like the best. Like I tried all kinds of paths thinking I wasn't smart enough to be a scientist, and then I finally ended up in a science program at my school--and I loveeee it even though 1) it's hard, and 2) it's not really a "safe" career like what I was doing before (nursing)

  • Awesome video man. You made some good points, speaking from the heart. Gonna pray for you. Keep going man.

  • Oh boy look at the scat man.. truly!

  • Lol. BOY YA HAIR AIN'T GOT WHAT IT TAKES

  • well i agree with the first sentence but the dang nabbit video won't load. it must be the negatons! interfering with my positive emotions!

  • GREAT ADVICE!!!! so true!

  • and as a funny side note, you mentioned "cloud nine" thats my bands name LOL

  • This is inspirational man, I'm 15 and practice with my band around 6 hours a week, 20 plus by myself. My parents embrace my musicality, but seem to put down the idea of living with it. They always tell me school is more important in my life, but I always ask myself: should I put what I hate before what I love? I appreciate this a ton, you've inspired me, I now fully intend on "going big."

  • this video made me sad, you had a great message step, I'm so proud and happy for you. I love you step, always.

  • @TheChelseacraze Thank you Chels! Much love back xoxox

  • you look really good in this vid step

  • Stephen you've hit on so many key points, excellent video BTW. We were just talking about this on your facebook page too and this video covers it all about doing what you love. You have so much insight for your age, I'm blown away by it. When Trike come to Australia I'd love to see one of your shows, they look like heaps of fun. Your message here is very inspirational, you have reminded an old guy that it's not too late at all, plus I like your music, so thank you. - Steve.

  • @AussieSteve001 Thank you so kindly! Yes, it's never too late. I'm glad you get something from this. Means a lot.

We would also love to play Australia for sure!

  • JUST LISTENED TO A COUPLE OF YOUR SONGS AND I HAVE TO SAY THAT MY ASS CAN FART BETTER MUSIC THAN YOU MAKE. F-TARDS! AND COULD YOU SMOKE SOME MORE DRUGS PLEASE, I'M HOPING YOU'LL O.D. SO AS TO NEVER HEAR THIS SHIT AGAIN!

  • @nvisionmd i've been making a living off of music for five years. we're signed to a label and very happy. pity your life sucks... maybe it's because you don't have a penis... i don't know...

  • Not enough room to finish the last comment. Anyway, keep up the great work. You're the best! (Xania too)

  • I am so proud of you. SO proud. I'm glad I know you, Stephen. You are a great friend, and very supportive. You're one of the very few to check up on me (about 3 or 4 people including you) while I was gone in my weird phase-like thingy, and you've checked on a few occasions. I can't think of a nicer person then you, and you deserve all the success you have found, plus more. I'm glad you didn't give up. I think you have some of the most unique music in the world, and your music needs to be heard.

  • @OkieMerrod83 Thanks man. This comment really made me feel good. Truthfully, it is difficult to find and maintain an audience and it's not always easy. It's good to know that there are great people like you out there who are very supportive and awesome. You don't give up either, my friend :)

  • @trikevlogs Unfortunately I think I have given up. I've made my mind up about that this week. I don't particularly like it, but it is what it is. But the thing is that your not following in my shoes and your making a name for yourself. That makes me happy. :)

  • @OkieMerrod83 I understand, man. It's not for everyone. I have often thought of giving up too. It's hard, this youtube thing. It's hard to get people to follow you. People always change and decide to move on... people are fickle. If you don't do "topical" videos it's harder to really get a following etc. etc... It erks me to no end sometimes. That being said, Trike still goes on... I always appreciate your support brother. Do what you need to do.

  • @trikevlogs Thanks. I appreciate it. I dunno, man. I've been depressed lately and even tho I love making videos I think I suck at it. I can't get most ppl to say hi to me on YT, let alone have them watch my stuff. I feel like most ppl hate me. lol. :/ But your positivity, and this video, is inspiring. Maybe i'll re-evaluate things. I don't wanna quit. The idea terrifies me. I'd only be letting myself down. I can't be a loser in my own eyes. Thanks for inspiring me to keep up the good fight.

  • @OkieMerrod83 I doubt anyone hates you. I think if you don't want to quit and you love making videos, you should just do it. I also have issues with yt. We lost a lot of viewers over the last year... we seemed to have a lot of teenage fans, but most of them just stopped watching and commenting. Getting views for me is harder than before. You really have to pimp out your stuff, it seems. That being said, I still love making vidoes and have to have faith that even if (cont)

  • @OkieMerrod83 (cont) there is a lull, things will hopefully bounce back and keep growing. as long as i keep making videos that I like, I have to hope that people will just catch on. But if you love it, do it... that's a no-brainer ;)

  • lovely philosophy and you are really brave for making that decision. you guys are awesome and I am glad I found you, you have given me lots of smiles <3

  • @Nonthinker1 Sweet! Thank you!

  • The negative people that are telling you to get a real job or whatever aren't jealous of you, they aren't trying to hold you down, and they aren't 'haters.' They're the ones looking out for your best interests, because the VAST majority of people who try to make a living as an artist fail miserably, even the talented ones. I'm happy that wasn't the case for the guy who made this video, but it is the case for most people. At least have a backup plan lol

  • @cujagu I don't have one... never had. I believe often that backup plans can become what you end up doing.

  • @trikevlogs Well yeah, they end up being what people do after they fail to achieve their dreams of being an artist. And since most of the people who try to make it in music or visual arts fail, it doesn't hurt to have a backup.

  • @cujagu Well, I suppose it depends. If they actually have talent and when they do their thing (whatever it is) people respond really really well, I would say scrap the backup plan and just throw yourself into it. If you totally suck, a backup plan would be useful.

  • Good for you! You have a talent and you are pursuing it fully. My talents are more obscure and undefined I guess, but i am following my desires thru YT and an upcoming website (someday!), and am expressing my creativity there. My dark side (negativity from within), I agree we all have it, and its a struggle to battle it at times.

  • @still7geo That's good! Yeah, it's good that your following your desires on YT. Fun place to be

  • This is probably one of the most inspirational videos I've seen in a while. I'm also trying to pursue a music career. My band is currently writing in the studio. We don't listen to the negative people who say we can't make it. Thanks so much for this video.

  • @MayonakaMaiku Anytime! Glad you enjoyed it.

  • Well said Stephen :)

We'd be all better off as individuals if we took your advice on board. I know personally I would be if I had the courage to pursue the things that I wanna do. You are artist and a man of knowledge, thanks for sharing.

  • This was really really inspiring !

  • @TheCityFellas Thank you!

  • You go man :D

  • I'm proud of you, SPT...great vlog!! As Zeppelin once said, 'You're Time Is Going To Come"....Just don't forget us when we need backstage passes. xo

  • @see4ward You're a sweetheart. I really appreciate knowing you!

  • @stephenpaultaylor Ditto...and I really can't wait for backstage passes! ;-)

  • Thank YOU!! Its so easy to forget sometimes how lucky I am to do what I love for a living. Its never easy but if it was everyone would be doing this and you are right, its about determination and thats it. Anyone that believes in themselves can be doing something that they love to do. Also its not even about what is coming, living for a dream is the best part of all of it. Its hard to remember that.

  • @KatieMarie94x Thanks Katiekins! <3

  • I'm quitting my job today! Thanks SPT!!

  • @demarkered Sweeeeeet!!! My pleasure!

  • you're so awesome, i love you!!

  • I wish I had the guts to do what you do man. You and Xania are inspiring to me. I had a band going for a bit. We played some shows, but half the band moved in the summer and it's been hard getting new stuff together. What you do helps me keep going. Thanks!!!

  • @Devilock07 Anytime! I hope you can get things going again. Feel free to send me any music if you ever want feedback.

  • I am 90 years old can barely walk with pain all over my body and depressed, I guess my choice is to sit here and wait for the big one so don’t stop bitches lol… All kidding aside you guys rock thanks for all the memberable moments deep from the hart :)

  • @Skylinerealities Hahaha. And thank you for the support and all the funny/ weird/ wacky little vids you do!

  • I agree with you to a point but sometimes our aspirations must be put aside (even temporarily) because the people you care about depend on you doing something that may not be creative or fun but you do it because your love for those people is bigger than your desire to express your creativity. Its not always fear that stops people from following their dreams but a responsibility to the welfare of others.

    Nothing comes without sacrifice.

PS. its good to see you happy and reaping good vibes.

  • @CurrentlyDisconected That's true. Sometimes we do have to make sacrifices I suppose. I've had to make sacrifices to do this as well.

  • I'm planning on taking the same path as you. But its hard getting big in a technical metal band. It's what I want more than anything. I'd kill to be in your position five years from now.

  • @CaptainPie5 Put your mind to it. It'll happen. We're not big yet but we've had enough wonderful and epic moments that all sprouted from the single thought to keep going no matter what. Obstacles are just challenges. Plus, there is definitely a market out there for technical metal. You just gotta find the audience (or let them find you)

  • You're a fucking inspiration man!

  • @RushColours Thank yoU!

  • Don't cry sweetheart; you have a light that never goes out. You. Fucking. Rule. This is one of the most inspiring videos on YouTube. I freaking love Trike. "There is no boat to miss." The only boat to miss is NOT doing what you want out of fear. Great message Stephen. You are LOVED for a reason. Keep kicking ass! And for the record, The Doors (Jim Morrison) lived on a rooftop BROKE in the beginning too.... and they're one of the biggest [most talented] bands ever. ((hugs)) Your friend, Amy Lou

  • @GutterDoll138 And you quoted Morrissey! Awesomeness. Yeah, I remember from the movie The Doors that he was in dire straits in the beginning... very true. There are many inspiring stories out there... if (when) we get big we will definitely have a crazy story to tell! xoxox

  • @trikevlogs Yep. I knew you'd catch that; being the rabid Morrissey fans we are! ;) You guys amazing and its these stories in particular, that you have to remember...and hold dear. Keep On Truckin' SPT!!! <3

  • I Fucking Love You!!! You ARE amazing and I love your voice.... Keep kicking the Negative fuckers out of your life!

  • @sunsetlover Negative fuckers BEGONE!

  • Dude , you made me push to actually continue my journey to becoming an artist :) Well done in your band aswell ! Maybe you could hook me up so i can be noticed? :P

  • @Pesiane Haha. I'm trying to get noticed myself, my friend... but anything I can do to support.. no probs!

  • @trikevlogs hehe you will man , if you keep on pushing forward that im sure you will ;D thx bro , maybe we shall tour together :P

  • @Pesiane Anytime!

  • @VanRipley thanks man

  • Where the fuck is dusty with my logic fix.

  • @Shuttlekilla i think you posted this on the wrong video

  • just came here cos of dusty

  • @joao2286 really? dusty rocks. sub too?

  • I think all singers and entertainers are overated, especially the big cash making ones

  • @dumbnetworks what about small, undiscovered ones?

  • Nice BG

  • This video was seriously touching, and so true! Wise words! I definitely know how that is, it's a constant struggle, but you have to never give up! Your awesome, and talented! Keep it up! =)

  • Dude! you're the rock star man! Your band was nice, Trike RULES!

  • I love you guys!! <3 xoxo

  • well said Stephen. you go for it. the people is what its all about ;)

  • "Chalk on the sidewalk" LOL There are some WILD sidewalk chalk art that looks the ground is opening and stuff like that.

Great thoughts on nothing stopping you! We can be our own road block by believing other people's words. Well said and clearly heart felt :o)

  • . . . and you also have your career as the English actor Mackenzie Crook ;)

  • I've got a bunch of people here supporting me now and Its an amazing feeling. I've always felt like there is more to life then working a dead end job living paycheck to paycheck, and as xanny put it jobs just make me feel so Soul-less... not that I'm above working one, Its just nobody in this town is giving me the chance. so I'm going to keep on working on what I am cause not matter what I have control over this. I'm sick of feeling like a have no control in my life. I love this video so much.

  • Stephen... I wanted so badly to make a video response but I just can't seem to find my camera fast enough. SO I just write a comment. I use to have so many doubts. Like am I cut out for youtube? etc. But I over came that. Why not me, and there is no chance unless I take one. I feel allot more confident about making videos, I set up a goal for myself to keep my motivation going and so far its working, I want to make weekly videos for a year. I'm 4 months done so far as of today <3 I

  • @EricPreslik Oh PLEEEEEASE do a video response! I rarely get those! I'd love it!

I think it's great that you're doing that... plus, you're funny and cool! Keep filming bro!

  • @trikevlogs I really wanted to. But I wanted to be genuine and just turn on and film my first reaction to this video. I really like it. Your awesome keep up with what you're doing.

  • Listening to other people doesn't work....doing what you LOVE to do...is important...it is your life baby

  • @RangerX55 Thanks mate.

  • Now that our kids are grown and moved out I'd like to try what I've always wanted to do. Lead singer for a rock band. Don't know how well I'd do at it and not sure how good my voice is but....won't know unless I try.

  • I admire you both for making that decision you are both very talented. I have never been a risk taker I realise now that I've spent too much time doing what other people want me to do. You are very inspirational.

  • @cheekychickenhead Thanks so much! I've learned a lot in the last few years and the how much you can accompllish when you just free yourself from fear is astonishing...

  • good for you Stephen, great video

  • Keep rockin' Stephen.

The megahighs of your industry may not be in your cards, but a great life is. Keep pushing forward.

  • @bowlingballout Hey now... you never know, my friend... you never know! Still might reach the "megahighs"... it's not too late.

  • @bowlingballout a great life is what matters though... in the end...

  • Good video Stephen. Right on. :-)

  • @MainCharacterChannel Thanks Nick!

  • You suck and youtube hates you.

  • @jlawton22

    [yawning]

  • @bowlingballout Lol @ you.

  • @jlawton22

Now I can't even muster enough energy to yawn at you.

  • @bowlingballout Lol @ you.

  • One of the best, inspiring and honest video, I've seen in years.

We have only one life, indeed.

  • @VanPiorsing Thank you very much!

  • Very well said. Negativity SUCKS. I really try and stay positive.

  • @canadianstudmuffin Yeah, me too bro! It's the best way to be

  • awesome! best of best of best to you! : )

  • Awesome video!! yay! Follow your highest excitement and every thing will fall into place! You're a great example of how to live! Thank you for sharing!

  • Ur video is AWESOME...I got A new BOOST to live my life now

    THANKS

  • Thanks man. I have a dream to goto Japan. A friend of mine keeps attacking it

  • @silentboxer1989 Don't listen to them. It's entirely possible once you put your mind to it.

  • This is amazing!!

  • Congratulations to you for getting yourself in a place that you want to be, but a whole lot of what you say in this video is bullshit. You talk as though most people in the world disagree with your worldview. That's bullshit. Western teachers and parents are constantly telling lazy, talentless little turds that they can do or be anything. Children are bombarded with romantic affirmations to pursue their dreams. The only thing that gets in the way is reality.

  • @Platyzoan Oh come on. I have been around. I've met many many people who have talent but don't pursue a career doing what they love. They also surround themselves with people who only reaffirm their negativity. I've met many many people... however, I also think the true enemy is ourselves, more than anyone else. My parents knew I had talent as a child yet they never ever thought of convincing me to get into the arts. I also meet dozens of people whose parents do the same. Gimme a break.

  • @trikevlogs You say that your parents never thought of "convincing" you to get into the arts, but I doubt that they forbade it. You may not have gotten the encouragment that you wanted, but the general stance of western parents is that their kids have the freedom to pursue whatever they want. I am not saying this is bad, but it is what I have observed. BTW, my own 10-year-old daughter is an amazingly talented pianist. She has no one telling her she can't pursue a career in that field.

  • @Platyzoan No, they didn't forbid it, but they didn't encourage it, thinking I should be sensible and get a proper job. My dad and I almost got into a fistfight once over it... That's great about your daughter though...

  • @Platyzoan and as karmagirl74 said below, "not many people follow their dreams"... you have to admit that that's true.

  • @trikevlogs Yes karmagirl74 is correct.

  • I am so happy I started a channel and started subbing people and found you, until I became a part of Youtube I had no idea what I was really missing with people and the talent like you have. I am so happy for you I am happy to see all this talent others have and are sharing on here. I love your videos and look forward to each one! Love you and Xania!

  • @pjavery80 I agree! I'm glad you're getting something out of this experience. I love YouTube and the amount of talent that flows out of this website.

  • that's powerful

  • @WhackTheWax thanks

  • You guys have heart and that's why what you do connects. Nice work brother.

  • @blightproductions Thanks bro!

  • very inspiring and very true:)

  • @djbigangus Thanks!

  • Not many people actually follow their dreams .. you should be proud of yourselves that you have. You're doing something you love, even if it doesn't fill your pockets! Too many people focus on money rather than happiness!

  • @karmagirl74 Well, it fills our pockets... with change! Haha... no, but we are happy, which is what matters

  • great vlog...very true, and pretty damn inspirational. Trike rocks in every way.

  • @FromUnderTheRock thanks a lot buck! you da man.

  • Many years ago someone told me, there are more people out there willing to hurt you rather than help you, remembering that has served me well

    "Fake Friends"

  • @surakon Fake Friends BEGONE!!! I will try my best to avoid the hating hurtful ones and focus on the kind ones.

  • Great vlog, man! GREAT VLOG!!!! But I got to point out something. YOU HAVE BALLS!

  • @Gimmeaflakeman hehe... THANKS!!! So glad you enjoy it! I miss our skype talks!

  • love the Marilyn background!

  • @TomCoteMusic You'll be seeing a lot more of that!

  • inspirational, seriously, thanks, cheers m8.

  • @dildomerchant thanks mate! much appreciated!

  • admire your strength and determination..brilliant stuff spt and well said keep on trucking ^-^
