3rd Person. To me, I'd of prefered it in 1st Person. It just doesn't look/play like a Metroid Game, of what I've seen so far. Then again, I've only played the Prime Series and the ones before that were 3rd Person, right? I'm pretty sure this is set before Prime, and abit after the 3rd Person Metroid Games (was it Fusion? I'm not sure).

Voice Acting. I personally think they didn't do a good job on Samus. She sounds like a winging little Girl, not the bad-ass Bounty Hunter we know.

I'm going to buy this Game, but what I've seen so far in a few of the Trailers and such is that there is a few problems within it.

The ones I mainly picked up on are...

The Graphics. For 2010, and being a Game on the Wii, it doesn't look very impressive (not the Cutscenes). It looks like a rushed job, then again, another Studio or something created this Game didn't they?

@GruntKilla90 Yes, I have actually. Nintendo Games, well the ones I've noticed, usually have detailed Graphics. Maybe the more popular Titles like Mario, Zelda and Metroid, but nevertheless they look better than the ones on Playstation and Xbox. I saw some Games from 2002, released on the Gamecube, and they looked really good for their time. Then I saw PS2 ones, they looked terrible... I know I might be judging abit to much there, but its my opinion. I just saw this Game as rushed :\ sorry.

About the graphics, the gameplay, the soundtrack, everything is great, as allways. When I played Metroid 1, made in 1986 (the year I was born), I couldn't believe those graphics, gameplay and variations were made in a game from that year, the very most games were too simple that time. Metroid has allways been among the best games for its time.

Metroid is definitely one, if not my favourite video game series of all time. Hopefully this iteration to the series lives up to its predecessors. Judging from this video, I for one love the new artstyle that the developpers have taken with this series.

I'm of the XBox / Wii gamers, and started off with Halo. The 1st ever Metroid game I've played was Metroid Prime 3. As current I'm going through Metroid Prime. Even though it's good, I don't like how you're thrown into the world in the 'deep end'.

I personally like the main character to have a bit of a back story, so Other M looks like doing that.

If people only played games in the past, than their current predecessors Then they'll understand the richness of it. Examply, Super Metroid. A lot of people (Wii/Xbox Generation) have never played it. THats why I wish they'll make a remake. Super is like the Holy Grail to Metroid. I believe the reason most people still like Metroid.
