Legendary beach. Read a UK surf mag once where some dude was actually driven through his board at this beach. Not only cold, but with the rock bottom, the seaweed grabbing at you, it sounds like heaven and hell all wrapped up in one.

Hey man I live in Aberdeen I used to live in Brazil where I surfed a lot, since moving back to Aberdeen I havent done any surfing! But I will be getting my driving licence in a few weeks so i have a lot more opportunity to go searching for waves. Where would you reccomend travelling from Aberdeen? and also is a trip up to thurso worth it? I am not a pro or anything I amcomfortable in 5-8ft waves

Good waves, best wave in the UK. Not bad footage, resolution could be better but music cool and everyone is getting barrelled! Lucky sods!
