From the animation style to the fast-paced wordplay, Bradley and Gary is SUPER original. Makes me think of a kind of Sheep in the Big City on flannelgraph. The writing is expert-- and I really enjoy the chemistry between all the different characters. This quest for mediocre awesomeness is truly gaze-mazing-- and the pacing was superb-- never dragged on. 6:55's visuals totally sent me into reels of maddened laughter.
The only thing I'd really suggest is 1) Clean up your photographs, or at least their outlines. The white looks really blah. 2) Never ever make jokes about so many different names before your characters are even introduced-- totally made me dizzy keeping track of who was who. If you put the opening titles before that whole name-change joke, I would've been able to follow it better. 3) Try to find a better mic! The humor is totally in the dialogue, which is well-crafted, but you need to HEAR it.
I'd suggest a Logitech mic, if it's in your price range. I greatly await the next eppy-- onward on your own quest for acquiring a work ethic! I truly am on that same path mah'self. All of us lolly-gagging madmen are.
@HomeStarRunnerTron Like I said on AIM, I'm not sure if it was the mic that was the problem or our questionable recording methods (shouting random lines of dialogue from halfway across the room to the one guy clumsily holding the microphone in his sweaty palms.) Thanks for the compliments, though.
Gary is awesome.
