Middle class needs a fast growing country to develop. Middle class needs electricity which comes from Narmada dams and tribal have to be uprooted for that. Middle class needs industries, industries need minerals that are in tribal areas and again needs to be uprooted . Middle class needs development and there is a cost to pay....

Electricity can also be produced through other means, there is nuclear, wind, solar, Geothermal and so on, same goes for mineral resources, why can't they go for the rule of law and properly compensate the tribals?.

But corporations need cheap energy, so they go for Hydro, thermal, etc, it's the corporations and politicians that displace the tribals.

Where there is development, the fertility rates become low. This happens due to host of reasons.
