Thanks so much for posting this treasure, Brett. Sometimes when I'm jamming with our old Music Night group I miss his guitar playing and the blazing musical love that poured through him so much it hurts.
Pure Patrick. His comfort zone was "fully utilizing all the amperage the garage was wired for". Searing creative clarity, radiating out of chaos. I miss that man.
For Keith and everyone who was ever touched by Pat Lubow, here is an old clip I dug up from 1991-92 of him jamming with old pals Dave Hamma and Brett Lyda. For me, this old relic somehow captures perfectly, Pat's radical optimism, fiery spirit and his undeniable will to live. I'm especially moved by the beginning where P tries to remember the words and then declares that he'll fake the rest. Dig it.
