@fallingclimber for the record delsym does not work. its a time released dxm and you would have to drink at least 4 bottles to feel anything. it wouldnt be worth the price you would have to pay. i drank the 888mgs bottle and didnt feel a thing.
@jjallen1976 Actually that's incorrect. Delsym is the same exact chemical just with a different salt. There's the hydrobromide salt and (Delsym) the polisterex salt. The polisterex salt is known for not being as powerful but lasting much longer. I drink two bottles of 148ml of Delsym and get close to a third plateau. Part of the reason you may be having a problem is because it's possible that some of your stomach enzymes aren't breaking down the polisterex coding over the DXM

DXM can induce mystical experiences if used responsibly. But yea... I did it one time and after the trip I had the worst headache and it lasted weeks.

There has been SOME research on rats indicating lesions in the brain at high doses over long periods of time, but a rat's brain is FAR different from a human's brain. Honestly, this is a harmless drug, and if you take it with the right attitude (curiosity in consciousness and meditation) with a measure of sober moderation, there are NO CONSEQUENCES other than increased plasticity.
Pure DXM is one of the greatest drugs ever! its the best state of mind for me, Super happy, makes me wicked sharp and the senses get extremely elevated. As a long term user, it doesn't really effect you the same after going to the third and forth plateaus as many times as i have. After that its just kinda, you get close, but not all the way there, but still a damn good time. But much more focused and conscious, not as alien and wild as the first 60 or 70 times.

DXM is the best drug in my opinion, and as long as you follow a few simple rules you will stay safe and have a great time! Rule number one, take a medication with ONLY dextromethorphan in the active ingredients because other actives in high doses can give you nasty side affects and/or damage your organs. Rule number 2, if you’re completely new to DXM start out with a low dose and work your way
up. Robotussin cough gels recommend 30mg of DXM to get rid of a cough, but you need about 150mg in order to start to feel high. I personally take about 300mg (one bottle of robo cough gels, 20 pills) and I absolutely love the high at that dose, yet some people take up to 1200mg and still are just fine afterwards (I personally would never take that much). The point is start low and move your way up so
that you are comfortable. Rule number 3, only take in moderation, in other words don’t do it all the time, allow you mind and body to fully recover. I usually wait about 2 or more weeks in between doses to be safe. Rule number 4, I do not recommend mixing with any other drug, especially alcohol and anti depressants. Rule number 5, don’t drive or operate machinery, duh. Be safe, have fun, and stay in school.
Up to 50 times the recommended dose? It goes higher then that. 30 mgs is considered a larger dose medically, that time 50 is 1500mgs,which will majorly fuck someone up and could kill a small person or someone with health problems even, I've heard people using upwards of such.
I haven't done it in almost a year, didn't quit but actually a tolerance developed that never went down. I also never personally went above 1500 mg of HBr (polisterex is different) and my highest dose ever was 1480mg.

There has been SOME research on rats indicating lesions in the brain at high doses over long periods of time, but a rat's brain is FAR different from a human's brain. Pure DXM is one of the greatest drugs ever! its the best state of mind for me, Super happy, makes me wicked sharp and the senses get extremely elevated. As a long term user, it doesn't really effect you the same after going to the third and forth plateaus as many times as i have. After that its just kinda, you get close, but not all the way there, but still a damn good time. But much more focused and conscious, not as alien and wild as the first 60 or 70 times.

Up to 50 times the recommended dose? It goes higher then that. 30 mgs is considered a larger dose medically, that time 50 is 1500mgs,which will majorly fuck someone up and could kill a small person or someone with health problems even, I've heard people using upwards of such.
I haven't done it in almost a year, didn't quit but actually a tolerance developed that never went down. I also never personally went above 1500 mg of HBr (polisterex is different) and my highest dose ever was 1480mg.

Short-term toxicology is fairly well known, what isn't is potential of being a long-term carcinogen and the metabolic paths of the drug.

It's safest not to take legal highs at all, but considering the composition and quantity of adulterants in street drugs, legal highs are much, much safer.
Mephedrone has a high potential for addiction&abuse but isn't very toxic by itself.

Legal highs at least where i'm from are marketed as "plant food" or "bath salts" or "incense". There's no guarantee that there's even an active substance in them. I have the luck to have pure DXM pills, pure codeine phosphate pills and some others given basically OTC, although they are not legally OTC ofc.
