They should make another series I mean Scott Bakula and Dean Stockwell are still alive, just remake it with them like at least one season call it Quantum Leap: The Lost Leaps. Make it set after the series ending and send Sam around changing history and finally get home in the last episode.

true however i grew up in the 90's ad the reruns that were on were 80's stuff, everything i named was on the air in the early to mid 90's

God the 90's were tv heaven to a guy, airwolf, quatom leap, knightrider, the A theame, mcgyver, dukes of hazard, renagade, magnum pi, Miami vice, viper, chips, all with action and cool stuff, is it any wonder I find reality tv boring when I grew up on shows like those?:/

I love this show, I want to say there was a movie released relatively recently where Sam did eventually make it home after something like 15 years of leaping and suddenly he had to get used to normal life again and learn all about what the world had become while he was away. I've never seen this, but I would love to one day (if it exists and I am not imagining things)

@GeekyGirl1011 Sam never got home. In the last episode he jumps into himself on the day he's born and the bartender at the place he's at is hinted to be God. In the end he ask Sam where he would like to go and Sam says he wants to go home but he knows he can't because he has to fix Al's past and tell Beth to wait for him. Because he fixed Al's past they never met and Sam never got home. If I can find a way to get the last episode on here, you can watch for yourself.
