@akaRay44 It is all you say, but if you're taking a survey of the MOST beautiful song of all time, mark my vote for Judy Garland singing OVER THE RAINBOW.
Have u lied? Have u stolen? Jesus said if you look at a women with lust u have committed adultery with her in your heart.
If God judge’s u by the Ten Commandments will u be innocent or guilty? Heaven or Hell? The Bible teaches despise the value of your eye compared to the value of your soul. would u sell your eye for a million dollars? And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. needgod.com
Just lately, I learned to love this song. I like to hear the voice of Earl Grant he is like of Nat King Cole my favorite artist so with Earl Grant . Thanks for posting the song.

I can always remember hearing Earl Grant as a kid in the late 1960s early 70s at home on a Sunday afternoon when my mom and dad would pull out the old vinyl.Man his talent still sends chills down my spine even as im nearing 50.R.I.P. Earl
What a beautifl song heard it many time,s like you it bring,s tear,s to my eyes the beauty of this song. What a gifted singer earl grant was. Such a beautiful voice
I THOUGHT IT WAS GOING TO BE A REAL RAINBOW WHEN I SAW THAT IT WAS NOT A WAS VERY ANGRY SO CAN YOU PLEASE MAKE A VIDEO WITH THE SAME SONG BECAUSE I LOVE THAT SONG BUT WITH REAL RAINBOWS THAT WOULD BE AWSOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
When I bought this record in 1959, just for fun I used to play it and ask friends who it was. Without fail everyone would answer "Nat King Cole". A superb voice and as a Nat King Cole fan I am therefore also an Earl Grant fan.
Along with Matt Monro's "Walk Away", perhaps the most beautiful songs ever recorded...it seems to sound better each time I listen to it, if that is even possible..
Oh so beautiful it makes me tingle for all the right reasons, A TRUELY wonderful songs, the video is fabulous too thank you so much for uploading this.
MY HUSBAND AND I HEARD THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME ON A OLDIES RADIO STATION IN NEW YORK AND WE PICKED IT TO BE OUR SONG, AND THEN WE HAD IT PLAYED AT OUR WEDDING 23 YEARS AGO COME OCTOBER 17. WE ARE STILL TOGETHER AND VERY MUCH STILL IN LOVE.
I first heard this song in 1958 and have always loved it. Listen to it every chance I get. He does sound a lot like Nat King Cole. Also, Earl Grand and Nat King Cole both dies at a young age, I believe neither was 50.
The song that very much reminds me of my parents while they we're still around. So short the time that we were together without problems and happy with my siblings....but worth remembering to the rest of my lifetime...
The song that very much reminds me of my parents while they we're still around. So short the time that we were together without problems and happy with my siblings....but worth remembering to the rest of my lifetime...
The lyrics and the melody is simple yet it pierce through the soul. A far cry from today's complicated imagination and overly enhanced audio, worse this hip hop thing that is no music at all.
I fell in love with this song the first time I heard this in the early 80's. And to think this was probably written in the 50's and today still rocks with 100K hits. Truly this song goes on till the end of time.

@speedviper47 God Bless you and your wife. My wife and I were married 48 years and on December 31, 2009, my beloved wife passed away due to complications from by-pass surgery but we shared nearly 49 marvelous years together. I pray that you and your wife have as many wonderful years together as my Polly and I did. We have reached the End of 'Our' Rainbow and I have only to wait until I join her at the beginning of our new rainbow!
@ccalvert40 Sorry to hear that your wife has gone on ahead of you, but Congratulations on a wonderful and enviably long marriage. No doubt you will be especially thinking of her all through this month. May your heart be comforted and your Christmas be hopeful. This life is merely a hiccup in the story of eternity. We will all be with our departed loved ones sooner than we realise. God bless you!
Beautiful video images.....perfect for this hauntingly beautiful romantic ballad. One of my all-time favorite songs. I thought the late great Mr Grant was Nat King Cole when I first heard this song back in the 60's. They sound quite a bit alike. How sad that his life was cut short by a tragic auto accident. Thank you very, very much for sharing this with us! :)
He was my first cousin. 2 bad i did not get a chance to know him (he died the year i was born). My mom said he died on his way coming to visit us. Oh well, life is so interesting.
What a beautiful video! You've done justice to a very special "oldie". I remember my high school's principal "approved" of this kind of music being played at our weekend sock hops. Quite often, this song was chosen as the last song of the night. It brings back memories of felt circle skirts and capezios.
I read the comment copied below. It's an age old question, but can you tell me, when things are so beautiful, what goes wrong later? It is his ex, after all.
"I remember , I was holding my ex so firmly in my arms on dance floor , then I look in her eyes and I whispered behind her ear , how much I enjoy being with her. It has been 20 years past of that night and I still remember every second of it. Anybody as a hanky , I need to get over my tears!"

At the end of a rainbow, you´ll find a pot of gold At the end of a story, you´ll find it´s all been told. But our love has a treasure our hearts always spend And it has a story without any end At the end of a river, the water stops its flow At the end of a highway, there´s no place you can go But just tell me you love me and you are only mine And our love will go on till the end of time

Earl Grant was a superb singer with a gift for making a lyric sound like poetry along
with a mellow delivery.
Mr. grant was , in my opinion the closest of his contemporaries in tonality and style
to Nat King Cole.
I was saddened to learn that such a talented singer and musician died in an
accident so many years ago but heartened to know that he is remembered on
pages such as this.

Hello! Beautiful song and very beautiful video. Is that Brook Benton singing? Thank you, so much, my friend.

Thank you tropicalpancake, You are very kind. This version is by Earl Grant...I believe Nancy Sinatra has also done a version.
