When I bought this record in 1959, just for fun I used to play it and ask friends who it was. Without fail everyone would answer "Nat King Cole". A superb voice and as a Nat King Cole fan I am therefore also an Earl Grant fan.

Earl Grant was a superb singer with a gift for making a lyric sound like poetry along

with a mellow delivery.

Mr. grant was , in my opinion the closest of his contemporaries in tonality and style

to Nat King Cole.

I was saddened to learn that such a talented singer and musician died in an

accident so many years ago but heartened to know that he is remembered on

pages such as this.
