@tpitrone - I think that the word 'unknown' is referring to how much of God is a beautiful mystery to us. No matter how broad our view, we will always tend to put him in some sort of box, leave out part of him: so perhaps a wise thing is to acknowledge that we can't totally define him. Our scales and methods of defining often don't even apply to him: he was there before everything else, he is outside of everything else, and thank God no one of us can claim to completely understand our Sovereign!

This is the recording done by Mac Powell and Fernando Ortega together I think, but there is an even better version (in my opinion) that Fernando Ortega has on one of his albums.
